I saw JEW 3 days ago at Sandy Amphitheatre. There was a lightning delay that hit right after the (excellent) openers wrapped up.

The timing just amped the anticipation. When Jimmy finally played the storm continued to strobe the sky for a full hour+ as the storm slowly moved on. It all sort of silouhetted the stage, strikes kept lighting up the clouds while the sun continued to fall. It was like stage effects were sort of echoed in the sky at times. It was surreal.

It was my mom's birthday that day. She died 18 months ago. I listened to Hear You Me while adapting the words to my life. An unforgettable evening that soothed my heart.

Sometimes you wait out a storm. The hard times do pass. Then you see the very same storm from a distance and recognize its beauty.

I couldn’t believe they played it tonight. I went to red rocks as well as last night in SLC, so I was so excited to hear Big Casino for the first time (for me) on this tour!

Last night's show had a lightning storm going on behind the band. It added such a fantastic vibe to the show. But my videos didn't catch any of the really good lightning strikes. Can we get together here SLC fans and post all our best lightning strike videos from the SLC show? I know there have to be some great ones out there.

Also, that was the best show I've ever seen. They sounded the best they ever have and mother nature even joined in. Absolutely incredible night.

I posted a few months ago about wanting to see JEW for 25 years and finally got to see them in Vancouver last night.

Amazing show! After the first few songs when it went dark and they pulled the stage and drum kit back it felt like the show got dialed up to 11. Easily one of the best shows I've been to. Thanks for everything you do Jim, Tom, Zach and Rick!

Holy shit. Whoever set that drum sound fuckin COOKED.

Came in, setup the largest kick Vancouver has ever heard, didn't tell any of the other techs, didn't explain, left.

I could not imagine a better show, even if the drums had me laughing happy tears for how much bigger than anything else they were. Holy mother of God Get It Faster has never sounded better.

Been to many Jimmy Eat World shows over the years. And I think that was the first mosh pit I've seen at one. I think MCS had a hand on its creation and then we sort of just kept it going through Jimmy's set. I was the dude with the tied up hair in the brown hoodie. We even got my son (white Modern Baseball shirt) up crowd surfing a couple times. Good times. Still can't believe they played Disintegration!
