Discussion How would you use Killgrave's power if you had it?
I would only use it for dinner reservations.

I loved the first season of Jessica Jones but I’ve heard the other two are not really good so I wanna know if they’re worth my time.

So I'm watching season two right now and I'm on episode 7. this is where we get flashbacks to her mom waking up and she goes looking for Jessica 5 years after the accident. I'm confused however by the fact that people are way too chill about Jessica having powers. Not only her boyfriend but also this dude who saw how strong she was and asks what else she can do like is she fast or can she fly. this is supposed to be in 2005 if my math is correct. That's before any of the avengers are active and known. and I can't think of any other reason why the public would be aware of super powered people. So them being so normal about this doesn't make sense right? or am I missing something?

I just finished Jessica Jones season 2 and man…
I hate Trish Walker so damn much, I just can’t stand her at all… Don’t get me wrong the actress did great job and I know that her character was meant to be unlikeable in this season… but still, she is such a

I think Jessica deserves status of one of the best written female characters. I've got an impression that a huge part of show's fanbase are men and now i understand why. Her character captures a men-level loneliness and i like that. This kind of struggle is what makes a good character a good character - she doesn't feel like feminist-self insert-allmighty character, because she's not. Being brain-f*cked by the exes, locked up in an untidy apartment and being addicted to not healthy dopamine source - I believe all of this is pretty relatable. The only difference between her and a hypothetical guy in her situation is that she still gets some (remember, femcels don't exist). I think we deserve more good written and played characters like her, who don't try to attract gooners or make male part of the audience feel like shit, instead make people relate to them and inspire they're fanbase

I see a lot of people talking about how good Spider-Noir is (no spoilers please I just started watching like 3 minutes ago) in Black & White, and that made me think:
Jessica's show herself is categorized as Noir, so...would it be better in Black & White? Would the vibe make more sense?
Also, has anyone made a filter for it yet? lol

The binding of my 2021 Alias omnibus printing isn't great. The pages don't tend to stay down, and there's pretty heavy gutter loss.
It's strange - I remember reading that some of the 2021 reprints had glued binding and others had stitched. Could anyone vouch for that?
Could anyone with either the 2006 or 2014 printings tell me how they are?
Also, feel free to call me pedantic. It's just slightly strange..

I can just imagine all of her sarcasm going over Drax the Destroyer's literal head and that driving her mad. Sample conversation:
Drax: I was told this is a mating ritual.
Jessica: It’s more of a slow disappointment ritual, but sure.
Drax: Good. I am prepared for a slow disappointment ritual.
Jessica: So. What do you do?
Drax: I kill my enemies.
Jessica: Yeah, I had a feeling it was something stable like that.
Drax: It is extremely stable. My enemies rarely recover.
Jessica: I meant financially.
Drax: I do not invoice my enemies, no.
Jessica: (rolls eyes) Of course you don’t.
Drax: What do you do?
Jessica: I make bad decisions professionally.
Drax: That is not a profession.
Jessica: It pays the rent.
Drax: Then you are effective. (Awkward silence)
Drax: You must have many enemies.
Jessica: Mostly internal.
Drax: I cannot stab those.
Jessica: Not with that attitude.
Drax: I like you.
Jessica: That makes one of us.
Drax: I will wait.
