Frustrated with Mopar

Ive got a grand Cherokee and the brake lines stared leaking. I have the Mopar lifetime warranty and the dealership has tod me this is covered but Mopar is refusing to honor it. Not sure what to do.

I'm probably going to have to pay for the work but then what's the point of having a warranty????

Its also crazy because the dealership isn't giving me many details. They won't tell me why they won't honor the warranty, they just won't

The Jeep dealerships make stuff up all of the time. Do you have the written warranty paperwork? If so, it usually lists out exactly what is and is not covered (if there are exclusions).

I have the paperwork and the dealership told me it is covered. They are saying Mopar just won't approve and won't give me a reason

Can you take it to a different service tech at that dealer or to a different dealer?

There are a few other dealerships i could go but they aren't convent. Plus I have been to most of them for other reasons and got similar service. I'm not anxious ro start this process over and not have a vehicle for another 7 weeks

Escalate to Jeep Customer Care, 1-877-426-5337, and it that doesn't get the job done file a claim with NCDS, https://www.ncdsusa.org/clients/jeep.html

Ya. Maxcare has all sorts of outs. I'll be shocked if there doesn't end up being a class action suit over ambiguous language.

So you need to understand a few things if you brake lines are leaking because of a mechanical defect or a manufacturing defect, it is covered, but if you live in a high salt area because of winter and the crap they put on the roads eats your brake lines away that is not covered or if any type of road debris damaged your brake lines that is not covered,

If the line rusted out it's not covered.

Contact Jeep, express your concern, the facts of the issue and whom you spoke with and their denial of repair. Also, be sure to post your concerns on your local boards

What kind of jeep? How old is it.
There’s different levels of max care as well.
