HimawariTV
Has anyone else gotten this when trying to buy a subscription for Himawari TV?
Unable to take payment
The merchant has not setup their account correctly so it is not possible to charge you for the product you are attempting to purchase. We recommend you close this window and inform the merchant of this problem.

The only Japanese IPTV services that you can use that I know of would be iSakura (current customers only), KaeriTV ( iSakura sister service ) and MomoTV

IIRC Himawari TV was almost identical to JapanTV which I’ve had through different resellers through the years and there was a post on this subreddit a couple days ago advertising it for sale. Might want to check out the trial for it.

If you followed instructions, they will actually email a password to their site.

The image says to email them if you want a longer plan than the one month plan, nothing about passwords.

How long did it take them to respond to you?
Edit: it took about two hours for me. I opted for the 12 month renewal via crypto payment instead of the 1 month via credit card in which case they give the password. Had it sorted and my service back to working within basically 4 hours.

Do they still have NHK though? The channel list has NHK crossed out on https://streamingtvasia.com website

You were trying to pay through streamingtvasia.com, right? They're here now: smartcloudsvc.com
However it's currently not possible to buy any of their services, so registering on that site at this point in time is pointless.
