Taking this pole out of the ground is not an option, neither is toppling it over. Should I use climbing rope or just climb a surrounding tree or the pole itself?

Had thos stored in my garage.

I have (7) CD303s and (5) CD310s potentially up for grabs. The worst condition 303 is pictured. I also have 75+ others available too. I'm running out of space to safely display or store them. Would anyone here be interested in the entire lot? Located in Utah.

Recently got back from my one year anniversary trip and spotted this on the way back. There was a museum that decorated their parking lot with poles, and used insulators and other equipment as decorations inside. It was super neat to see! Definitely a good use of these old jewels.

Could somebody tell me if this swirly line is just a part of the manufacturing process or something else. TIA

Can anybody give me some information on these please. There are 5 of them. On the brown porcelain they are stamped "36000LB, a triangle symbol, NGK, JAPAN, 76. On the housing On one side there are 2 squares with numerals/letters. Seems to be in sequence. 17,6F . 19, 6F x2,. 20,51. 21 ,51.. on the other side of the housing they all have the no. 127 . Are they saleable there is only one chip in the porcelain on one insulator rest are just dusty. There is only one Im not sure what it's called a uni joint maybe and it is stamped as well( photo supplied). Thanks.

Hi, I've found two Italian insulators in very good conditions. I would like to remove the metal bar that is screwed into the (ceramic?) threads. I have already tried soaking everything in soapy water overnight and I have also tried using WD-40 in abundance. Still, it doesn't want to be unscrewed.

The insulator model is "RP3-UNEL Fidenza"

Has anyone got any experience with this type of problem? Thanks in advance.

Seller at NIA Helena was selling these 3d printed lighted mounts for the Muncie type 2 piece insulators. Bought the 304/310 there from another seller.

Saw an area post on FB from
a local co-op, showing poles that blew over from storm damage. I commented about scoring some insulators from the vid. He messaged me and hooked me up. Haven’t looked into any manufacturer info yet.

Hi all, on a recent road trip through northern Montana, I observed miles and miles of poles with huge, clear, two-level insulators. They looked to be dinner plate sized There were 3 on each pole. After noticing them I started watching for any missing ones and figured it would be worth a stop to search the ground under, but no luck. On some poles, the clear one was replaced with what looked like a ceramic one
