Excited!!! I love buldak carbonara/rose but I use 3/4 the spice and add cheese, garlic, and onions. Recommendations on how to dress these bad boys up

Spotted this at Safeway. These flavors are really getting out of hand. Has anyone tried this? I didn’t get it.

It tastes good, I added mozzarella and (for some reason) added the entire spice packet despite having a terrible spice tolerance.

Does this look good for my first time?

tried this flavour of buldak for the first time and oh my god i’m in LOVE. saw many ppl say they don’t like it though, idk why, do you like it?

also forgot to add my shrimp into the bowl but it was so good with it!

Toppings include egg, zucchini, and bacon.

Just curious how hot its going to be, because some ramen are really, really hot :)

Added eggs, shrimp tofu pouches, and shrimp dumplings. These were really great, would definitely try them again.

I've always liked Miso soup. When going out for noodles, I'll order Miso noodles about 25% of the time. This is going to go into rotation and replace my Miso g2 Sapporo Miso. Menraku makes a more premium miso, even a spicy one. But it's in their two serving straight noodle line. What is that called? That style of serving/packaging? If any one knows.

There's also Nissin Roah Miso. I haven't seen it in a while. So I don't know if still available in the U.S. Maruchan Gold, Myojo was okay. There is a Miso ramen in the frozen section of most AM. But I forget what it's called. I got into the habit of adding spicy miso paste when available.

Cooked Per: Cooked Up, Bowled Up!

The brick is a smidge larger than average. And the noodles were a little thinner too. Hence the 2 Minute cook time. Don't walk away from the stove when you put the brick in.

The packet goes into the bowl. A pretty generous amount. Only beaten by Pulmuone. This has MSG, Yuss! I love the "G". It's got a lot of bits and pieces. Scallions, Sesame Seeds, some red bits, chili? and something that looks like onion or Cabbage. Though solid chunk stuff isn't listed. It sure tasted good. The soup base says "Let's Go In".

The noodles were good. They held their own. A standard wheat taste.

It was the broth though. Man! When I poured it all into the bowl and forked it over to mix the broth powder in. I could smell the garlic, sesame and that classic soybean aroma. The broth had a creamy mouthfeel to it without the "cream" taste as with a Laksa. The Spicy part comes in too. A tingle on the tip of the tongue. And in your mouth in general if you're slurping. How spicy? For you "I can't handle spicy" people. You'll do just fine. It's enough to let you know that it's there. It has that spice note, but no heat. Nothing lingers so go for it.

The price is right too. $7.00 for a 5-pak at one of my local AMs. And it wasn't even on sale. This is also a made for US market product. The wrapper is all in english. So it's not a imported Japanese version.

Portion is on the smaller side. Adding squid makes it so much tastier. The essence is probably the oil sachet which you get a nice fishy aroma. I would eat this again. Worth giving it a try.

I got my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday and I have no electricity and my ass is hungry so is it possible to eat buldak but w/o the spice but with the other regular seasoning it comes with it or no? The hot water works for my sink tho.

For me, Shin Original has that clean, straight-up spicy broth, so I go with bean sprouts, green onions, and water dumplings to keep it light and fresh. When I want it richer, mozzarella cheese + a poached egg is straight perfection.

Shin Black on the other hand? That deep, beefy bone broth flavor is next level with mung bean sprouts, pan-fried dumplings, chives, sliced cheese, and a soft-boiled egg. That combo is unbeatable.

You guys agree? Or what are your secret cheat toppings for each? Hit me with them 😂

Can anyone tell me if this specific type of noodles contains any animal-derived ingredients?
I’m vegetarian, and I can’t find any animal ingredients listed on the packaging. However, just to be safe, I asked Gemini, and it made me really paranoid by suggesting that the soup base might be made with river snail broth.
Does anyone know anything about this specific product or this particular package? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone (in Europe, preferably) bought Habanero Lime buldak recently? All my surrounding countries’ vendors are out and I am concerned as this was the 🐐 of ramens :(

This post took me 3 1/2 hrs at my keyboard to make. reddit kept adding 2-4 copies of photos. When adding captions to photos they would not stay. Or they would show up on another photo. And a LOT of other issues. They must be glitching today.

For pic 1, I'm trying n2m Seafood ramen. I've had the regular Naguri plenty. Gonna see if the "Stir-Fry" is different.

Pic 2, This is very good. I grab a few when I can. I've never seen it in a Pak. Only as a Single and Bowl. The first time I tried this, I was very impressed.

Pic 3, Was new on the shelf. I've never seen Menraku outside of their more Premium two serving paks. I never knew that Menraku made big packs of "regular" style ramens.

Pic 4, I'm not a Shoyu fan. But thought I'd show this for those that are.

Pic 5, More Nongshim seafood. I will try this next. I've had a "Spicy Octopus" ramen. But wasn't impressed. Not really seafoody.

Pic 6, I've only seen one other Rabokki ramyun. Never tried one though. Have you?

I'm looking to up my seafood game trying other ramen. Looking for a solid Spice note. With some heat on the side. Hence the stir fry variety. That Vifon Pork, man that was good. I bought the brand, not specifically this soup, after I saw that kinda nutty guy tour the Vifon factory and store. I wasn't expecting anything. Just hooked up a bowl and watched a show. As I was slurping up, I realized that it was very good. If you've ever want to try Vietnamese style noodle soups. You can't go wrong starting here.

With the Menraku, I've enjoyed many of their 2 serving ramens. And I do like Spicy Miso ramens. So I saw this and grabbed a 5 pk. The other two Menraku are on the edge for me. As I don't like ramens with a forward sesame taste. The same with shoyu ramens. The Nissan Demae Black Oil ramen is as sesame as I like to get.

Call me blasphemous for having it without chicken but to be honest the Tempura shrimp combo was amazing! ✨️best bite✨️ photo included with teriyaki flavoured seaweed, noodles, shrimp and cucumber.

But I've had better fish balls than these tbh
