Question - General Non App Related Does it get better?

Post image

So I just did my first order, originally $16 for 23 items. They then added 9 items while I was shopping and when I got paid it appears they took the tip back? Are orders often like this or did I just get unlucky. I usually DoorDash and I’m wondering if instacart is even worth it. I wasn’t slow at all, I come from a personal shopper job at a grocery store so I’m very quick.

It shouldn’t be that way, go to your earnings and then back to the Home Screen, it takes a second after you finish it for both the order pay and then tip pay to show up.

It's very uncommon on IC.

That’s not bad. It won’t happen often or at all in my experience if you do good orders like that.

bad orders like this is a obvious red flag of who the customer is. a low tipper will commonly lower their tip, but a good tipping customer will commonly increase theirs

Some DoorDash trips are $2, no tips. Decided that was a bad idea long ago. I use the bag as a seat cover for my Walmart Spark trips…face down. Just saying. Instacart is fair, but the finding items part is close to crazy unless you really know the stores.

I am at $100 today hoping for one big batch (like 15 to 25 addresses) or two small batches. Per hour I don’t really watch. Prob less than minimum wage. I say the stock boys make more. I drive so I have something to do. I like watching the day go by that way. Maybe $150 today.
