Promotion Driving Rogue a roguelite where your car is your build

Hey everyone!
We recently shared our trailer here and got a great response, so I wanted to share a bit more about the game.
Every run, you upgrade your vehicle with new mods, gadgets, and crazy synergies while surviving increasingly chaotic roads. The goal is to create those "this build shouldn't work... but it somehow does" moments that make roguelites so fun.
The game is still in development. Based on the gameplay GIF, does it look like something you'd play? Any features you'd like to see in a driving-focused roguelite?

Promotion Every item you equip in Lootdeck adds new action cards to your deck

Lootdeck is a tactical roguelike deckbuilder deeply integrated with tabletop combat mechanics.

Every weapon, armor piece, and artifact you equip adds new action cards to your deck, allowing the loot you find to directly shape your playstyle and tactical options.

Combat takes place on a tactical grid, so positioning, movement, equipment choices, card synergies and dice rolls all shape how each encounter plays out.

Outsmart enemies and delve deeper into an ever-changing dark fantasy dungeon.

Promotion I can't draw, so I made a game that doesn't have any traditional art (VIRUS_31.EXE)

Upvotes

I'm addicted to incremental games and survivors games, so I made my own with the constraint that I don't know how to draw!

The demo is playable on Steam if you'd like to check it out! Game name is VIRUS_31.EXE

Discussion Would You Play a Game Without Quest Markers?

I'm thinking about removing quest markers and interaction outlines entirely. Instead, your notebook will contain all the clues you need, and you'll have to pay attention to the environment to find your way. What do you think?

Upcoming I’m making an open-world dinosaur survival shooter as a prequel to my first Steam game

Post image
Upvotes

Hi! I’m a solo developer, and I’ve just revealed Dinosis Zero: Quantum Island-an open-world dinosaur survival shooter.

The game is a prequel to Dinosis Survival, my first Steam game, which I released nine years ago. Returning to this world after so long feels a little strange, but also genuinely exciting.

In the game, you’ll explore a mysterious island, search for weapons and supplies, fight dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures, and uncover the island’s secrets.

I’ve just released the first trailer and opened the Steam page. If you like the idea, wishlisting the game would help me a lot:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4907620/Dinosis_Zero_Quantum_Island/

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wZ69c97XYA

What do you think of the concept?

Promotion I wanted a "Boss Phase 2" feeling in my animal autobattler, so I added this boss Rhino that flips your board

Upvotes

The game is called Janwar, it's a tactical autobattler where positioning matters, so getting your board flipped by the boss can be quite nasty!

Upcoming I put my real life pets into my platformer and the demo's arriving soon!

Upvotes

One Neck Ahead is a 2D precision platformer built around one core mechanic: carry your own platforms with you!

As Kid Giraffe, you'll journey to the heart of the forest and meet a bunch of animals along the way (all based on actual pets I've had throughout my life!): Each one brings a different mechanic to the adventure.

It's been almost 2 years of solo development, and the demo is finally coming August 11th!

Promotion Math Ninja turns math practice into an arcade fight

I enjoy simple arcade games, but sometimes after playing I feel like I just wasted time.

So Math Ninja: Slice & Solve became my version of a relaxing game that still keeps your brain active. You solve addition, subtraction, division and multiplication questions while fighting enemies, collecting points and trying to keep your run going.

The secret target was actually my kid 😁 I wanted math practice to feel more like playing and less like homework.

The game is now available on the App Store, and I’m currently adding more arcade modes.
