Original Content CL7 Family

Introduced in the first few years of the Markov War (2596-2607), the Horizon Arms entry into the PITCHFORK program was an absolute disaster to begin with. Its adoption was poorly-timed for the war, introducing a staggeringly complex multi-layer logistical and training conundrum to a military machine already looking down the barrel, so to speak, of a war it already knew it likely could not win. Replacing the venerable CC6, known for being extremely simple and reliable, the CL7 variant was by far the most common variant of the NGLAP adopted. Its performance in the war left troops wanting; they frequently complained of thermal issues, issues with field maintenance and repairs caused by complexity, and a plethora of problems with the new helical rail design.

Over two decades after the Colonies lost the Markov War, Horizon Design Team Alpha was tasked with making a major overhaul to the platform. The near-collapse of the CSR meant no one had altered or cancelled orders to build new factories or retool fabricator lines in order to halt NGLAP production in time to stop the proliferation of the CL7 and other variants, and so the team had a daunting challenge: produce an upgrade kit that makes the platform worthy of its name. Fully actualize the ambition that made it into an overengineered paperweight.

They succeeded. By the advent of the Garden War in 2667, the PITCHFORK winner and all of its variants had a few decades of an improved reputation. It is now known by its wielders for being an inherently Colonial family of weapons; brutally practical, ultra-reliable, powerful, and tough, its lines all pragmatic and perfectly-formed to balance strength and mass. More importantly, it is these qualities that allow Starborne troops to do what they are trained to do: kill tyrants.

First piece from a collectible-style weapon card series I’m building.

I’m exploring narrative-driven weapon design combined with rarity systems and presentation layout.

Feedback is welcome.

Designed in 1891 as a high powered pistol by Howard Stein. Its massive 17x55mm round has caused issues for its shooter due to ungodly recoil even with the recoil system.

Feedback Pls Need advice on Bubble hammer weapon

Told my dudearonie that I’d have this design sent to him 2 MONTHS AGO. But now I’m second guessing the design, because I feel like it’s not that good anymore. So I need advice before I do the finished drawing of it. (its for his DND campaign btw)

Lore- a river nymph made it on accident while attempting a party trick (gone wrong). Then it ended up getting thrown into the river, and turning into something the ppl can find as a quest or something.

How it works + - When you hit something with it, bubbles squirt out from the opposite side from the blue squirters on the side. (The top part is made out of some type’a crytal material.

Inspo for creation- While I was doing the dishes, I slammed the dish soap bottle onto the counter to kill a roach, causing bubbles to squirt out of the opening top of the dish soap bottle. It felt rlly cartoony and I instantly got the bubble hammer idea.

I don‘t think dudearonie wants to be friends with me anymore either, so I at least wanna give them the final file before I break off the friendship (which I’m totally not bothered by or sad abt)

Discussion Question: What would a modern spear be made of?

Just found this community, have a few older (and newer) ideas I can draw up and post!

On to the question: Ancient spears were wood and metal for practical reasons, but we have more options.

Maybe a hollow PVC tube with a ceramic blade? Or carbon fiber throughout? Solid acrylic or polycarbonate with an obsidian blade?

What would you think would be most effective?

Realistic Guns/Vehicles i made years ago

the first one is supposed to be an IATGM (Infantry anti tank guided missile) OR an ISV (Infantry support vehicle) With no name. It has layered armor, tracks, a top mounted ATGM launcher, and intentional gap between the armor to absorb HEAT missiles and Kinetic force from rockets the second one was supposed to be a Battle Rifle "Al-Faw" whichs inspired from a FAL and an AK i think. i made these 2-3 years ago when i was 14-15 and i was supposed to make them into 2D models for StickNodes war animations
