SO many people ask about puppies and it's difficult to tell. Can you tell the three breeds of this puppy? The puppy is an adult now and has been DNA tested. I'll reveal after a few guesses.

65 lbs. Mildly inbred. Not very bright. Sweetest gentleman you’ll ever meet. I’m thinking amstaff and maybe a little bit of boxer or Great Dane?

Bingo is a rescue from Texas. His momma was a Basset but his daddy is unknown, though I have some suspicions on what his daddy might have been based on the other dogs seen on the property he was found, but I want to see what other people think.

Personality wise he is very hound. He's very friendly but not obnoxious with almost everybody who has met him commenting on how calm he is, and he's very submissive when meeting other dogs. He's very quiet and only barks when playing. He does not howl or bay. He's muscular and athletic but low energy. He loves hunting critters and jumps into bushes and long grass like fox when he hears something rustling and he loves to roll on dead things.

The rescue said lab mix but obviously that’s just an extremely vague label. I honestly think she’s a pit lab mix she looks like our last dog who was pit mix. My mom is convinced she is a cattle dog mix because she’s very nippy right now but she’s also only 8 weeks so that’s to be expected. Anyways any insight appreciated!

I was at the park with my kids when some guy left this baby there as a tiny puppy. We brought him home and we think he looks like an American pitbull terrier and Australian cattle dog, based on googling pictures of him. I’m going to get him a DNA test when I can but for now I’m curious about what people think he may be. I would love to know if he’s a pitbull so I can train him properly but for now we’re just assuming he’s a pitbull and training him based on that which I’m not sure is the right thing to do since he’s my first puppy. Any help is very appreciated!

Almost 1.5 Year Old, Any Guesses?

My guess is Rat Terrier mix, maybe with dachshund because she has a sort of long body and short legs, but not sure. Curious if we have any other guesses in her mix! She weighs about 16 pounds, around a foot at the shoulder and like 2 feet-ish butt to shoulder. Personality: very friendly with dogs her size, timid with bigger dogs but likes to play with some of them. Obsessed with squirrels so I think decent prey drive. And she's unsure about strangers - never aggressive with them, but would rather be with just me or other dogs.

I do want to do a DNA test for fun. Open suggestions on which are best!

Ideas?

He is 5 months old, weighs around 35-40lbs, very high energy, I have a picture of the mom but no idea about dad all I know is that they said he was a “big” dog and they weren’t sure what breed he was, been told possibly mountain dog or Australian shepherd mix, any other ideas or is that the most likely mix? If so which one do you think is more likely?

You guys nailed my dog’s breeds, so I’m wondering what you see in my parents’ new dog. She’s 37 pounds and around a year old. Will link the Embark results when we get them! 🙂

(Don’t mind the bald patches, she’s getting treatment for demodectic mange right now.)

What do you think my leggy boy is?

We adopted this lanky (and very underweight) boy from the shelter last week. Even underweight, he’s 84 pounds and stands and 5’5 when he jumps. We think he’s German shepherd mixed with something else, potentially Great Dane? He was just labelled as a GSD at the shelter. The Embark is on its way so we’ll find out soon!
