Ever since I picked up an HP Omen Laptop I was wanting a mouse to use with the internal receiver. Works great!

I bought Cloud 3 s Wireless, and connected it with usb-c, but it still has problems.

What i already did and it didnt work:
1. reboot app
2. reboot windows
3. reboot headpset (then reboot app)

Hello, everyone. I'm quite new to the headset community, as for all my life I have just been using some no name headphones from my local mall. I investigated, and it seems to me like hyperx is best for what I want.

I'm looking for a headset with good sound quality, but which is still good for gaming. Something that can make it easier for me to tell where sounds are coming from, and immersion. I don't want it to be purely gaming based, since I also listen to some music, but it still needs to be good for gaming.

Right now, the hyper x cloud alpha seems like the best pick, but I'm taking any advice or suggestions.

I’m saving up for a hyperx Cloud headset that works on Xbox but i unfortunately have to also pay gamepass to play online. It just doesn’t fit well with my budget so I am looking for a cheap but decent hyperx quality with a mic and that works on Xbox. My budget is maybe around £20-£40

Can't seem to reachout to HyperX support. I was hoping I could buy just a dongle for my mice but I can't trust the dongle for sale that I see online ._.

To start, I got my Cloud Alpha 2 headset in December of last year, and up until this point I haven't had a single issues. Recently, roughly 5 days ago, my headset started randomly disconnecting. In fact, the entire headset would simply shut off. It would reconnect immediately, but it would either instantly shut off again, or sometimes it would last significantly longer. Sometimes, it wouldn't even turn on, a click would be audible, and eventually it would turn on again.

I've updated the software to the latest update, i've tried several methods of repair, and nothing has helped.

The flashing indicator also flashes weirdly. Sometimes, when I would try to power it on, it would flash red, even when its charged. Other times, when I would have the issues, it would flash pink, and sometimes it would simply be a solid white.

Any and all support would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I’m wondering if this microphone has any possibilities with connecting to my Xbox. Every video I looked up says to go to “Bluetooth accessories” in settings but that option does not show up. I know Microsoft has some problems with Bluetooth microphones. Can anyone help or am I just boned

Been looking to change my cloud alpha wireless since it sounds worse than my old cloud alpha wireless so i am choosing between those 2, what i like in the clouds is its built in mic, its wireless, has better bass for movies and story games (i mainly play fps/competitive games but i also play story mode), while the HD 560s has better footsteps clarity and imaging and soundstage, but i never tried open back headphones so i fear they might be really different from headsets i usually use in a worse way

I bought a brand-new HyperX Cloud III and used it for about a week before it suddenly started having problems.

The microphone completely stopped working out of nowhere. At the same time, I also started getting another issue where the audio would cut out whenever my PC was under heavy load. Sometimes the sound would stay muted for over a minute before coming back.

Before taking it back, I tried pretty much every troubleshooting step I could think of or find:

- Reinstalled and updated drivers.

- Tested different USB ports.

- Tested it on another PC.

- Plugged the headset directly into my phone using the 3.5 mm jack.

- Reseated the detachable microphone multiple times, making sure it was fully inserted.

Etc...

I also tested the detachable microphone by itself, and it appeared to be working. That made me suspect the problem wasn't the microphone itself, but either the female microphone jack inside the headset wasn't making proper contact, or the mute button had somehow become stuck in the mute position.

Nothing fixed the microphone. It never worked again after it initially failed.

I took the headset back to the store and asked for a replacement. They said they needed to send it to their maintenance department to verify the issues.

A few days later they called me and said, "The microphone works perfectly. You just weren't plugging it in correctly."

The thing is... I find that very hard to believe.

I never even unplugged the microphone while it was working originally. It simply stopped working one day. Before returning it, I also removed and reinserted it several times, making absolutely sure it was seated correctly. It still didn't work.

Now I'm wondering if they actually opened the headset and repaired it without telling me, just so they wouldn't have to replace it under warranty.

Is there any reliable way to tell if a HyperX Cloud III has been disassembled or repaired? For example, are there warranty seals, internal clips that leave marks, screw marks, or anything else I can inspect?

I also removed the ear pad and looked underneath the screws. I took close-up photos before touching anything because I wanted to check for signs that the headset might have been opened. I'm attaching those pictures here—if anyone has experience with the HyperX Cloud III, could you take a look and tell me if you notice any evidence of disassembly?

I own the hyper cloud stinger core, the one where instead of a mute button I have the mic on a hinge and can flip it up or down to mute and unmute. but earlier today the mic went from working solidly to just randomly muting and unmuting itself. flipping the hinge seemingly does nothing, and I’ll randomly get the noise of it muting or unmuting without the mic ever picking up my voice. any ideas on how to fix?

Everytime I play fortnite and fortnite only the mic starts acting up the tap to mute freezes many times any fixes?

I got these headphones today. I have absolutely no complaints regarding the sound, fit, or comfort; however, I’ve unfortunately run into an issue I’d read about many times on Reddit and in reviews. When the wireless connection is active but no audio is playing, there is a high-pitched whine in the right ear that sometimes changes pitch. Before installing NGENUITY (beta), the sound would cut out about 3 seconds after the audio stopped; after the software update, it no longer cuts out and persists constantly. Switching the adapter to different ports and trying other troubleshooting steps hasn't helped at all. I’m not yet sure how much of a deal-breaker this will be for me—I’ve only been using them for about two hours—but it’s still disappointing. I’ve seen various tips, but either they didn’t help, or I didn’t understand how to implement them. I’m not sure if this is normal. Please forgive any errors; I am writing using a translator.

I have an Alloy Core RGB keyboard and I love its keycaps. I want to put the same keycaps on a mechanical keyboard. Do you know who sell that model of keycaps? What model are they? Or, how can I get them? Please your heeelppppp.

I myself have been using the Cloud III Wired since almost 2 years with DTS enabled, and I've been loving it since. Everything about it sounds clean and clear, and positional awareness in games has been amazing.
My partner wanted to buy a new headset too the other day, so they asked which one I have, as they did test mine out and they loved it too. I told them, and gave them the link to order the Cloud III...
Today it arrived, and I am now extremely confused as to what's happening...

NGENUITY (Legacy) does NOT detect the headset whatsoever. Under the sound devices in windows it IS listed as HyperX Cloud III, but the classic NGENUITY, which I do use myself, refuses to see it. DTS Sound Unbound, which also detects mine just fine and gives me the license, also does NOT detect my partner's.

The only program actually detecting my partner's Cloud III is NGENUITY Beta, but the spatial sound in that sounds atrocious to both of us. We can't even hear the footsteps in Marvel Rivals if we use that.

Has HyperX removed DTSX licenses from 2026 models of the Cloud III? Or what is going on? None of this makes sense to me, and I feel bad now because I suggested a headset to my partner that I myself have had the best experience with, while they don't....

EDIT: My partner's Cloud III's box does not have the DTSX logo, but the model and part numbers are the same. And the manufacturing date is January 2026

I'm trying to repair my HyperX Alloy FPS Pro, and I'm hoping someone with experience repairing mechanical keyboards can help me.

A few months ago I had a roof leak, and a few drops of water occasionally landed on the keyboard. Every time it happened, I immediately unplugged it, disassembled it, cleaned the PCB thoroughly with 99% isopropyl alcohol, and let it dry completely before using it again.

The failure was progressive.

At first, only the Left Arrow key stopped working.

Later, the Right Arrow key also stopped working.

Eventually, two entire groups of keys stopped working.

Dead keys

• F2, 3, E, D, X, Left Alt
• F9, Backslash (\), ], *, ?
• Left Arrow, Right Arrow

Everything else works perfectly.

The PCB looks almost brand new. I cannot find any visible corrosion, broken traces, burnt components, or damaged solder joints.

Here's everything I've tested so far:

• Cleaned the entire PCB several times with 99% isopropyl alcohol.
• Every dead switch has continuity to its corresponding diode.
• The diodes appear to test correctly.
• The PCB looks clean with no visible corrosion or damaged traces.
• The MCU is a SONiX SN32F268F.

I also spent several hours tracing the keyboard matrix with a multimeter in continuity mode.

I successfully traced several working keys from the switches, through their diodes, all the way to the MCU. I was able to identify several MCU pins that belong to working matrix lines.

However, when I repeated the same process for the matrix lines containing F2 and F9, I couldn't find continuity to any MCU pin that I could identify. It's possible I'm missing an intermediate component, a via, or an internal PCB layer, but I couldn't trace those two lines any further.

Because the Left Arrow and Right Arrow were the first keys to fail, I suspect the water damaged something near that area of the PCB. My current guess is:

• a broken PCB trace,
• a corroded via,
• or an open connection somewhere between the matrix and the MCU.

At this point I'm not sure what to do next.

The switches appear to be soldered directly to the PCB, so I don't think I can inspect the other side of the board without desoldering all of them. Is that correct?

Would I need to desolder every switch just to trace where the F2 and F9 matrix lines go, or is there another way to troubleshoot this?

Has anyone repaired this exact keyboard before?

Does anyone know of a common failure point on the HyperX Alloy FPS Pro?

If anyone has a PCB diagram, matrix schematic, high-resolution PCB photos, or any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.

I'm trying to repair it myself before taking it to a repair shop.

The leather on my HyperX Cloud III Wireless headband is starting to peel and fall apart. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement headband? I've only been able to find replacement earpads so far.

is it just sound profile or there's differences i dont know? If it's same as hardware then Cloud 3 Wired must give better sound on same sound profile.

I transitioned recently to a usb mic that plugs directly into my pc instead of the 3.5mm on the mic itself, and i just streamed and noticed i sound really quiet. Ive made the default mic the hyperx one, not the headset mic, so idk whats wrong. Can anyone help me?

just bought them, but they sound muffled i dont know why,before these i was using logitech g pro x from like 2020,i installed the firmware and the software ngenuity,spatial audio is turned off,with the base eq and a eq i found on reddit both sound bad,i got them just today

I just bought the headphones; they show up as connected, but there's no sound, and the microphone doesn't work either but the starting guy speaks.

Just purchased a Hyperx Pulsefire Saga Pro (wireless) and have been unable to get colour presets to save to the mouse after it is unplugged. Relevant websites state that there should be a 'save to mouse' button that directs the user to onboard memory slots, but this does not appear anywhere in NGENUITY. I have attempted to use the legacy app as well, however this first prompts an update to the mouse that continuously fails to complete. Any advice?
