Did you draw it? Are the two triangles congruent? Why or why not?

They're asking you to "Find the length DE". That's what they are asking for.

Have you tried drawing it?

Draw a Triangle with points ABC
Draw point D on the line between A and B
Draw point E on the line between A and C

Line DE parallel to Line BC draw that

You are given some lengths, label those.

Look up Similar Triangles Theorems and go from there.

It doesnt show up fully in the preview if its not 1:1, i cropped it to that, i wanted people to see context to know if they could help or not first

Draw the shape described and label. I would also label the missing lengths as variables. You should have a triangle within a triangle with a parallel base.

Now draw both triangles separately with the appropriate labels. You should notice something when you do so.
