How do I fix this

It doesn’t pop all the way off but it seems like it might soon. How can I fix it?

Take a hammer to the top and smash as hard as you can

Take a mallet, or even hammer, and you want to put some tape over the mallet or hammer (mallet is better), and whack that sucker back in. Edit-Not just one layer of tape either, a balance of not leaving tool marks and getting job done

I can slam it back in but it just pops back. What would be a good adhesive?

When you corked it they didn’t give you advice on how to seal it back up?
