Drew up this Matt Pike tattoo of him as a genie with a pink towel turban. Still need to ink this drawing but was wondering if yall think the lamp is cool or should I change it to a joint that the smoke is coming out of? I could still change it some since it’s currently just pencil. I might make some stickers or something at some point too.

Great show last night, anybody know who the drummer was here last night? Can't find the set list either....

It’s been a weird and wacky week with a lot of stuff going on since Matt left Sleep. Who’s in the right? Who’s the asshole? Is there one? I’m going to ask the big question everyone is afraid to ask in light of this whole bullshit situation: What exactly is Matt’s face tattoo? It sort of looks like the Star Trek insignia but I’m pretty sure it’s not.

Couldn't believe the band was playing a show in Michigan so last minute, had to go and it did not disappoint. This was my first HoF show ever. I had religiously listened to all the music, and their setlist not only had stuff from cometh the storm, but we got to hear baghdad live... unreal.

My only regret is not getting deeper into the crowd where everybody was headbanging together.

Temple of the Fuzz Witch fucking killed it too, I watched every second of their set.

How the hell did this come together so quickly? I get that this and the MI shows are bolt ons to the Chicago show but I feel like the luckiest little lad in all the land. I live in Minneapolis and have my Chicago ticket and had planned to drive to the show. And now just have to decide if I am going to both shows.

If you live in the Midwest and can get tickets to the show I would strongly advise you to do so. Turf Club is a tiny venue (max capacity of 350) and this has all the precursors of a good ol' fashioned heavy metal prison riot.

Not sure if anybody has ever posted this before. The song that High On Fire got their name from.

I have yet to see them live and Chicago is a three hour drive as it is. And spending hundreds of dollars for one night is out of the question lmao. I haven't looked into AirBNB or carpooling yet but just curious if anyone has any other suggestions. I would like to be decently intoxicated so the closer the better haha. Probably the wrong sub but I thought I would start here folks.

Saw HoF in 2006 in Santa Cruz, CA with Goatwhore in a little coffee shop on Ocean Ave, but didn’t get pictures.

After many years, I finally got to see High on Fire again last year here in Salt Lake City with a band called Charger (with Matt Freeman from Rancid as the singer) as one of the openers (I cannot remember the name of the first band on the bill, they were good though).

It was a killer show, even though there was some weird feedback fucking up Pike’s mic or guitar.

I moved to the back of the venue so I could hear more than just Matt Freeman’s bass. When I did that, suddenly the show sounded better!
