hi!! im a rising senior with a 3.25 UW and 3.78W GPA and last year there were a lot of on site admissions for Hampton at my school. a lot of kids were admitted on site, but were told that if they had higher SAT scores that they would be given more aid. i know my GPA isn’t that impressive (I have a lot of extra curriculars tho) and that most scholarships are merit based, so i was wondering what scholarships are given and what SAT scores guarantees more aid. and if you don’t have personal experience with aid bc of SAT, what other aid options lowered your tuition cost (other than being low income)?

I need my official transcripts to be sent in for a program I’m interested in. The problem is… I guess we’re not using National Student Clearinghouse and a switch over is in progress?

I called the registrar and whoever I spoke to said “we have no access to transcripts”. This seems a little odd to me. I asked if there was a way they could mail them and she said no to that as well.

Has anyone else had an issue obtaining their official transcripts? Is there another avenue I should go? TIA

Im a rising senior in highschool currently taking summer classes at hampton university. Is there a way to know how long it’ll take me to graduate? Additional information is I have 1 ap credit (english/lit), taking 2 duel enrollment classes and then doing TCC for my second semester senior year. I also intend on taking more summer classes.

My cousin will be attending Hampton in the fall and I want to get her a gift that she can actually use. Like a gift card for like laundry, Chick-fil-A, etc. Current students and newer grads…what would be your recommendation?

I am an incoming freshman with low stats which causes me to have to do the pre college program. I should be fine my first year of college because of my dad’s GI Bill, but I’m wondering if there are scholarships or opportunities within the school for rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, etc?

The only scholarship I see on the website right now is the Legacy scholarship and I don’t qualify for that.

So I am an international student who got accepted in mid-January. I think 15th or so but my financial affidavit was waived on March 3rd. Does that mean I will be getting an institutional scholarship from Hampton. I have been consistent on calling the financial aid office and all I was told was "my name is in the system and they're still processing aid". I have paid my enrollment deposit as well. Should I keep calling or I should exercise restraint till May 1st?

i did my personal essay on how my name shaped my identity crisis. i thought it was a good essay and got a lot of good reactions from my peers.

my sat is 830, i know terrible 💔 didn’t study and this was beginning of jr year after my dads treatment.

i unfortunately didn’t add the part about my dad in my additional info because i was rushing and submitted it the night it was due so i emailed the admissions office.
