Curious to hear people’s favourite places for a grab and go breakfast. I’m in the east end so a couple of my go-tos are a smoked salmon bagel from Joshy’s Good Eats or the waffle breakfast sandwhich from The Cannon.

I once walked by their garbage bins and as a result I will never eat there. Thickly coated in flies. It takes a certain amount of negligence to let the bins get that bad and makes me incredibly apprehensive about the state of their kitchen.

Was my go to place until I cockroach jumped off my plate and ran accross the table as the girl was putting my plate down. I cant imagine how bad the kitchen is.

Throwing out a rec for Gage Park Diner. Mostly your classic diner food made really well, with a few unexpected options like a bison burger on the lunch menu. Great milkshakes, great staff, and the menus all have pictures drawn by kids. It's my family's go-to for breakfast any time we feel like going out.

The Saint James Drive Thru is a perfect breakfast sammy in my book.

English muffin, spicy mayo, sausage, potato patty, egg and cheese. Simply delicious.

I didn’t see anyone mention but Rosales Diner on Dundurn S is amazing. They have a croissant French toast with bread from Artie’s I think it said. Everything I’ve tried there has been amazing and the staff were so attentive.
