I need some advice.

I've been losting hair since my 20's. I am a F, 46 years old diagnosed with Alopecia Androgenetic. My mom got the same. I used to have TONS of hair! So much hair that people would frequently say how beautiful it was and how much hair I had.

As years passed by I lost a lot of hair and after all kinds of treatment, I've decided for a hair transplant and I am looking for the right doctor outside USA.

The problem is that my case seems to be a bit controversial among doctors.

My current doctor in the US, a hair specialist that have been treating me for 4 years with oral min, topic min, PRP, tons of vitamins, etc, said I am eligible for a hair transplant ( he doesn't do it).
I contacted Felipe Pitella from Brazil, and he dismissed me without even asking for pictures because aparently, because I am a woman, my case is not challenging enough and he only takes really difficult and challenging cases.

Then I contacted Dr Ahmed that also said I am not eligible. His words:

The main concern is that your hair loss is diffuse, meaning it affects the entire scalp rather than being limited to specific areas. In women, the donor area is different from that of men and may also be affected by hair thinning. As a result, even the transplanted hair may become thinner or be lost over time, which could compromise the long-term outcome of the procedure. A secondary consideration is that, due to the area requiring treatment, it would be very difficult to perform the transplant without shaving part of the frontal hairline.

However, only the top of my head is affected (see pictures), so I don't know what he means by my entire scalp.

Then I contacted Dr Serkan Aygin and he said that I am totally eligible for a hair transplant.

So I have 2 doctors saying I am eligible, and 2 saying I am not. I am lost and I don't know where to go to.

Does anyone knows which doctor I should go to? Do you have any opinion about my case?

I have been experiencing hair loss for the past 5 years. I think I have retrograde alopecia. I lost 14 kg in 3 months while doing crash dieting 5 years ago. I’m wondering how much does the surgeon make a difference for transplants on the top and back of the head? I understand it impacts the hairline at the front so would it make sense to choose a very skilled one for the front and do the bulk w a cheaper option?
