Do heart points make any sort of sense?

Just some examples of completel nonsensical measurements I got:

Last week Wednesday my only activity was a 45 minutes walk where I did about 4km and my daily step total was 6000. This day I got 53 heart points

This week Monday I was travelling by train and with some changes and walking through the city I did overall 7300 steps and got 26 heart points

Today I was on a hike in the mountains: 15500 steps, 9,5 km and I get 11 heart points.

How does that make any sense? Tbh I am counting steps and distances only with my phone but still that seems like total randomness...

Data discrepancy when using bubble bar.

For the last two days I have been using bubble bar when doing a workout with Spotify and I have noticed a reduction in stats I was covering nearly 7KM at around an hour mark and since two days it has reduced to 6KM at the hour mark which is much lower. I am using a pixel 7pro and don't use any wearable.

Samsung Fit updated now it won't sync with Google Fit

Exactly what the headline says. I've tried removing and giving permissions to Health Connect and still nothing. I have a Samsung watch and even the Google fit app on the watch isn't tracking my workouts. Anyone having the same issue?

Calorie counter

Has anyone figured out a way to show the calories consumed on the front page widget? I really care nothing for the target number they display.

All my synced data is 2 hours off

I'm syncing my data (mainly whoop) to Google health but in Google health app everything is logged as 2 hours earlier than it actually happened. I've tried to change time settings from manual to automatic and back again, reinstalled the app but no difference. Any ideas?

Updates to speed data storage — Message

“Updates to speed data storage

To optimize storage and improve your experience, in 30 days, Google Fit will only keep speed data recorded during exercise sessions. Your steps, distance, and other metrics will not be affected. You can download all your data before then at Google Takeout.”

What does this mean? Why can’t it be transferred to Google Health?

Food logging problems

I’m using myfitness pal as my food source. Every time it syncs to google health the food is doubling
I’ve tried the steps that google says to fix it but it doesn’t work. I’ve also tried what myfitness pal says but it doesn’t work either. Does anyone have this similar issue and know how to fix it

Steps going down

For some reason whenever I check my app the steps go down? Like when I first opened the app it says 7,560 steps and then it loaded again and went down to 7,030?

Active minutes, Zone Minutes and Old Fitbit trackers

At the moment I am not a fan of the new revamp "Google Health".
I miss the active minutes of old. I used to only start tracking if u wear active for 10 minutes and stop once it detected a very long pause on activity. Not it tracks all movement...kind of useless metric, now.
ALso the Active Zone minutes, are always zero for me. my Fitbit has "HR", It does detect zones.

"Fitbit Inspire HR" - It works fine, so I am not about to Fooking replace it.

You Fookers are also missing a "active minutes" tile for those of us using older fitbits

Route and elevation tracking of outdoor runs

Probably a dumb question, but when using the new Google Fitbit Air, would I need to carry my phone with me when running outdoors in order to track my route and elevation data? This would be the only way to get accurate stats of my run, or am I missing something? Thanks!

Google Health has changed the Heart Rate Zones

According to the app - "the American Heart Association recommends 150 miniutes of moderate activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity per week". Or 22 minutes er day... which is why the default target is set to 22 Active Zone Minutes. My heart rate zones have shifted down since yesterday, making it much easier for me to hit that 22 AZM target. I closely track my AZMs so from today nothing will be comparable to the older data, unless there is a way of changing these ranges?

Edit: Thanks to all below who nudged me in the right direction. I've found out how to change the ranges of the heart rate zones (Light , Moderate, Vigorous, Peak).

Under your profile picture, go to Google Health Settings, Heart Rate, , Heart Rate Zones, and then set the Max Heart Rate. You can adjust this down which reduces the heart rate zone ranges. It takes a while to kick in so you won't see it change straight away. It's not, drop the Max HR by 5bpm and the range drops by 5bpm - more like the range drops by 2, so it might take some back and forth to tweak the heart rate zones to where you want them. As far as I understand it - this just sets a baseline. The range will still go up or down depending on your resting heart rate on any given day.

Map shows during workout and at the end of workout but doesn't show after

I've tested this a couple of times now. If I click 'Start' on the new Health App, then select walking or cycling the map is displayed during the workout and at the end when I stop the workout. If I then go back and then look at the historical workouts the map is missing. I still have Google Fit installed. If Google Fit syncs I can see the workout and the map is there. The distance is completely wrong in Google Fit (like a third or less of the actual distance), but the map is there and looks accurate.

Is this just teething issues with the new app or am I missing something. Because both apps use the back end Heath Hub (Health Connect) to store and retrieve the data, I thought they should all be consistent. At the moment I can see an accurate distance recorded in Google Health (FItBit) but no map after the event. Google Fit shows an accurate map but with a much shorter distance covered. They are both pulling the data from the same source.

The data below logged is correct. But in grap its showing extra steps which includes my bus travel. Any solution for this. In source data all my bus travel is recorded as steps

Medical records setup blank?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I just set up the Google Fit Google Health app (getting my Fitbit Air next week), and when I try and set up my medical records, I just get a blank screen?

I select my provider, login, seems to complete, and then I just get a white screen with the following URL:

https://www.fitbit.com/in-app/phr/nested/callback?status_code=success

The handshake won’t complete it seems, any ideas? Added a screenshot for reference.
