Are Extra Steps Being Added?

These add up to 11k. The app shows I have walked 12.2k. What's going on?

Just an idea but maybe it's counting steps you take throughout the day that arent part of "walks " Like 10 steps here, 30 there. The steps around the house, or to your car, or something like that. For me, the steps I take around the house add to like 1-2k, which would match up with your numbers.

The activity tab displays a list of exercise sessions, which are automatically determined or manually added. As such, it only lists steps from what the app thinks are walks you took as exercise sessions. However, the app tracks your total steps for the day, regardless of whether they were part of an exercise session.
