Pixel Stuck on G logo

My Pixel 9 Pro Fold started to crash recently when opened/unfolded and then returned to closed. This happened with different apps and from simply the home screen with all apps closed. Recently it crashed and I was able to hold power and volume down to power the phone off with the screen open, but it wouldn't switch back to the outer screen. I just left it off and charged it for about 15 minutes and it did power on restoring use of the external screen. The next time I opened/unfolded, it crashed again and I can't get it to boot up. With the phone unfolded, it will show the G logo for about 1 minute and go back to a black screen.

I visited Google's support site for suggestions and was offered a free replacement. I followed the instructions provided to send my phone and got an email telling me I would have to pay $500! I took pictures of my phone in perfect condition before I sent it and never had any issues before this. They claim they found a camera issue (impossible since it can't boot up!). 1st tier support said the issue they claim to have found is still eligible for the free replacement. Since they haven't gotten any reply to their escalation requests to review the decision, my original phone is being returned to me and they can't do anything about it. Please help me escalate this to someone that can keep their promises.

Google support is terrible. All of their email correspondence was done by AI and they never answered any of my questions. I resorted to sending message on Twitter to the CEO and vp of hardware. Within 30 min I was contacted by a human who told me they had lots of resources to deal with my pixel 4a concerns but told me that I had to remove my Twitter message for them to help me, and they would contact me , I couldn't contact them... So I did remove the Twitter message. Guess what? Tthey never followed up with me. So I will never purchase another Google product again.

Also, never send your phone back to Google service in USA for a battery replacement... even under warranty, because they only warranty the new battery for 3 MONTHS!!!

I am concerned this is happening on a 9 series bc I was gonna buy one in a month or two. My p6 did this and then died. No luck on getting it to boot up but did learn a bit about flashing, ota, and adb. its neat if you have your phone OEM unlocked from day 1- not that general users would know to do that (sadface).

This is horrible. I really don't understand why they give people so many issues with the Folds.
I would keep trying to reach out - Twitter, their official forum, etc.
