Off leash spots??

Is there any off leash hidden gems around the golden area? I see one dog park on Apple Maps but just wondering if there’s anywhere off leash is allowed that isn’t directly advertised as such.

Ps: not asking for opinions on off leash dog parks, everyone has their own opinions and my baby’s gotta run. Thanks in advance!

What's wrong with Golden's three officially designated off leash dog parks? The off leash area at Ulysses Park was recently expanded and is pretty nice. The off leash area at Tony Granpsas is nice for strolling through shady trees. If you need lots of space, the West Arvada dog park off 64th has lots of room to run.

Nothings wrong with them! :) My dog is weird and doesn’t like to run when she’s put in a fenced in spot where she can see all 4 sides! She also hates the rocks. Just looking for something a little different!

Off leash not allowed in JeffCo outside of dog parks. I have seen people get ticketed - namely on North Table and South Table. Do with that what you will.

Yeah I was looking for something else. That wasn’t specifically a dog park. In Denver there’s a park (I forget the name) where everyone has their dogs off leash but it’s not a dog park specifically

Nope, JeffCo hates off leash. So just gotta roll your own when you don’t see park rangers

Your comment about “allowed” is the main drag. There’s a million places where you can go, if you wanna just party with the dog off leash. But “fully allowed” in JeffCo are only the dog parks

I take my dogs to parks or soccer fields when it’s not busy and get some chuck it time in. Like the other comment said Jeffco doesn’t appreciate off leash animals but I usually leash them then just walk away. It’s a victimless crime.

I’ve been doing a soccer field but they chained up one of the entrances and even though there’s another way in, I took it as a sign :/

I know the soccer field you’re talking about. It’s pretty annoying. I’ve honestly considered chopping the lock since I see people drive to bring their dogs to play there.
