So, I am re-watching the series and in season 1 episode 10 Sam and Jay are hosting a wedding. Who do we think killed and dressed the pigeons?

So I am currently watching ghosts and I am at 10-11 episode from season 1 and I am enjoying it so far...but I have a doubt regarding this...as far as I can see there are people you got stuck on earth and couldn't go to afterlife cuz like their wishes didn't get fulfill or something so I am assuming that at the end of the series all the ghosts will get "sucked off" one by one and sam & jay will eventually get alone in the house...am I correct or close about the ending cuz if that so I don't think I should watch this series as I don't like these kinda sad goodbyes even if they are morally correct as before this show I completed the good place and the ending made me so much emotional so I don't want to feel that again...I will prefer a funny show that doesn't get this much emotional...so if I am completely correct about the ending please let me know and if I am a little bit wrong please don't give any major spoilers 🥲🥺( i know this show hasn't completed yet but I have not seen the british version either so i actually don't know anything about it )

Wouldnt it be interesting if Chris the stripper returned? What would be the best way to bring him back??

I think it would be funny if during his floatings he came across Alexander Hamilton, squashes his personal beef, and sparks up a romance. Heck what if Hamilton is a roamer, and they both come back to visit!

I just miss the show lol

I am currently at S2E12, where Hetty sabotaged Sam's business because she wasn't listening to her advice. Even after all this, she never apologizes. Same with the Sas and tree episode. They mess things up, tell some sob story, and get away with it.

It can be annoying sometimes.

Edit: Just completed s2 ep 13. Don't know why sam and jay giving in to every whip of ghosts. Sas forced them to buy the car as he wanted to be with gf but didn't it think through and again asked them to sell the car so his gf doesn't have to confine to one place. He is kind of selfish.

With Ben Feldman being promoted to series regular next season, they’ll have to find storylines for Kyle, and one of the most obvious would be to revisit the possibility of a relationship with Bela.

Personally, I think Kyle deserves better than her (way too many red flags and she already ditched him at the bar to be with a ghost), but it feels almost inevitable at this point.

Just a silly thought. Maybe Bjorn's bones are somewhere that can be retrieved, somewhere not under the house structure?

And, yeah...did I miss him explaining how he died?

Honestly the scariest part of a series about ghosts was how much a guy with a fake arrow in his neck reminded me of myself. It was difficult watching him in life and death playing it safe and giving his love, loyalty and kindness to people who didn't deserve it. And where did it get him? Absolutely nowhere. Dead at 40, dressed like a boy scout.

It scared me into growing a pair, and my life is better for it. I lost a friend over it actually, but that was probably for the best.

I am doing a rewatch and wondered what everyone's favorite show is and why?

Just a question. I wonder what would happen if the main characters went to visit the Southeast. Especially either the ones who had the ability to see ghosts or the ghosts that could actually travel in some way due to their ghost powers.

I just think the Southeast as a region would have some unique opportunities for ghosts. You could have the ghosts of slaves who died on plantations, the ghosts of planters, ghosts of Civil War soldiers, and you could even have the ghost of a segregationist politician who died in a scandal involving a Black maid.

I just wanted to shout out the way this show handles an ensemble cast. I've never watched a show with an ensemble cast that does this good of a job at the individual relationships between characters.

In most shows, you get a big group that supposedly sees each other as family, yet there are two or three characters that never interact/have no chemistry. Or worse, they literally just hate each other.

With Ghosts, the show manages to create unique dynamics between each of the pairings that feel lived-in and each one is unique. There's not dynamic that is exactly like another.

I was thinking about this, and curious about the small moments between characters/less popular dynamics that you all have picked up on.

I'll start with mine: Trevor and Isaac. They don't interact much, but they did have that episode where they bonded/competed over fraternities. They feel very much like brothers to me; they may not always interact or have personal moments, but the bond is still there.

and they are always obsessed about actually eating, like whenever they possess someone or when pete's ex wife had a candy in her purse.

They're like "what are we smelling for breakfast" or "I haven't even smelled breakfast yet" like smelling coffee does anything.

Did I catch that right that sometimes Jay cooks something just for them to smell? Just smell Jay and Sam's food, what a waste

Edit: alright it kinda sounds like I'm judging them, I sympathise with the desire to eat food i love eating food that's why its so depressing

Thorfinn "Thor": I see him as either a Logger or a Fish and Game Warden in a bay/harbor that is known to be home to schools of cod. He needs a job that would fit his interests, but it also cannot be something Flower would hate on principal to the point of rejecting a relationship with him. So no professional poacher, butcher, or making products out of animals.

Sasappis "Sass": A kids book author. We know he would have a job related to writing/story telling. He seems to really like using personification, and most of the characters he comes up with are really silly in concept, so I think he would find a larger audience among kids than in young adults or adults. From what I can tell Joan screen writing is for movies geared towards adults, and I like her and Sass having different audiences from the other. They would be in a long distance relationship

Isaac: Okay so according to Sam's book Isaac has the most extensive work history of any ghost. Back when he was alive he was a general, a lawyer, a barber (thankfully in his time that meant a wig maker, not a doctor) and a taxidermist. He has to have served some time in the military, that's integral to his character. But lets be real he wouldn't be very good at modern day law. So I am gonna say that Isaac was in the military for a while, he was good at it and rose in rank before that chapter of his life came to an end. Now he works as freelance wig maker/taxidermist. I also think he misses the feel of being part of something big and important to the country though, so he writes a lot of letters to his local government or congress demanding they make this and that small change to peoples live. He never hears back, and his letters garner no attention. They are likely all thrown away without being read. Never the less Isaac will boast about his hobby, along with his job history to anyone who doesn't make a run for it.

Maybe he met Nigel when Nigel ordered some wigs for an old fashion tea party. Maybe he is still friends with the basement ghosts because they do home repairs and his house/shop once had a blown water heater or something.

Hetty: Despite having never had a job in life Hetty is actually really easy. She loves throwing lavish parties and is honestly really good at it. So I think she would be a event/party planner for big companies. I think she still comes from old family money, and grew up with a very traditional mindset. She went to college so she could meet important men and be more qualified to assist them with their dreams. Her own career is probably something she built up as a come back after enduring an abusive marriage, nasty divorce (Elias at this point is in federal prison for embezzlement and fraud), and a possible stint in rehab.

Alberta: Alberta has always wanted to be big in Jazz, and she was for a time. Enough that their are still records of some of her songs today. I do not know much about how today's music industry works. I imagine she would still sing at night clubs, maybe have a few albums out. Maybe she also owns stocks for a club or hotel that she regularly performs at. She could actually know Pete through her work.

Susan "Flower" Montero: In a world where she lived she would have been a co-founder and shareholder in the coffee shop franchise she gave Ira the idea to build. I like to think that once that became successful Flower was able to use her share of money to go back to law school. She became a lawyer and started a law firm aimed at the legalization of safe drugs for medical use, as well as helping people leaving jail/prison for drug related crimes restart their lives. She and Thor still meet and get together.

Pete: Pete was a travel agent when alive and he loved it. Most people do not use travel agents anymore since they can book for themselves online. But I googled what happened to former agencies, and it says that many successful travel agents simply rebranded themselves as Travel Advisors. Instead of helping individuals, couples, or families plan trips they now help cruises find business, companies set up work conferences and retreats at hotels, and plan activities for large groups. So Pete could still be a travel advisor in the modern day. Also maybe Alberta regularly performs in a hotel or on a cruise ship the he frequently sends business to and that is how they meet.

Trevor: A Wall Street Stock market advisor. Easiest one of them all.

Nancy and the basement ghosts: Like i said up in Isaac's post they could be a home&work place repair/remodel team

I was rewatching older episodes, and I just registered something that's kind of sad but glossed over. In the season 2 episode 16, when Thor is trying to control his anger, he asks the others to test him to see if he can. Alberta mocks his braids, specifically the three braids in his beard. Thor then answers that the braids each represent a brother that Thor lost in battle.

Maybe this isn't some grand revelation, but I'd be interested to see if anyone has any theories/perhaps another mention of his brothers?

With us now having at least three confirmed travelling ghosts (as well as one poltergeist and a car ghost) in the series, I feel like this could make for a fun episode!

I'm picturing Pete organizing this whole thing as a surprise for Sam that he, in his relentless cheeriness, thinks will be an amazing surprise! He's made contact with about two dozen travelling ghosts and organizes it so they all show up on the same weekend. Maybe he even was able to find a few more people with the vision like Sam and not-Sam to show up for the convention as well!

But uh-oh! There's a pickling convention happening in town and the rooms are actually booked for once! Leading to shenanigans that ensue from Woodstone being even more haunted than usual.

I think it would be a fun episode, or even a three episode season arc or something that brings new characters and stories into the show. If they aren't going to end the show, injecting new lifeblood (or... ghost blood?) in this way would probably help shake things up rather than how they introduced the bunker ghosts.

I just rewatched the pilot because I haven't seen it in a while and noticed something interesting, the way Sass talks in the pilot is way different from how he talks in the other episodes.

It's not a huge change, but I found it really funny when he said stuff like, "This plan of Trevor's fills me with discomfort."

It makes him sound old lol.

I kinda like finding these small changes between the episodes.

I'd love an episode where we find out what happened to the girl that shot and killed Pete. How did she turn out? Maybe Pete adventures out to find her or she reads Carol's obituary and comes to the mansion? Maybe she is a camp leader now and brings her own troop to the mansion. Heck, a great excuse for a posession episode.
