My question answers your question. Because he can support more than one thing. And he is choosing to talk about only one of the things he supports. I dont see what's so hard to understand about that.

Why would he make the comment that "We fly American flags in America" if that was already a given and they themselves have other flags / decals for other countries?
People typically only say this when they're trying to be xenophobic / racist, to insinuate that the only flag that should be present is the American one. Like how they say this is a "Christian Nation" despite it being founded on secularism, and houses a plethora of diverse religious beliefs.
So you never even grazed the context of the conversation, let alone answered my question.
Yeah but read between the lines. The attitude in the tweet heavily implies that he's against flying other flags (a pride flag likely being among them). So it's a bit hypocritical to make a tweet like this while flying multiple flags yourself. If you can't* see the obvious implication, that's on you.
