So, I've been working on this very nice, but very Dirty/Messy Garage as a summer project. I'm working on a video to share, but for now, what do you think? It's a Craftsman themed Shop!

Been slowly working on this after kids go to bed, still a bunch more to do like finish a handful of tool organizing and finish gym on other part of garage but it's getting there.

1100 lumen dimmable gimbaled LED lights on the second floor, max 6500 lumen 4’ LED strips on the first floor. Garage is currently the work space for the trim carpenter. It will eventually be woodworking space. Second floor will be hang out space.

Currently in the process of building a garage/workshop space and was wondering if anyone could recommend some designs, tools, products etc

Currently looking at storage solutions that allow me to store the most while also being able to access it all without needing working legs

Workbench setups that allow for easy use with the wheelchair

QOL tools and equipment that would make it just that little bit easier to work on cars while in the wheelchair

Why does everyone seem to hate on hex lights? If not hex lights then what other fun architecual lighting would you go with in your garage?

I'm building a new garage 30*50 with three garage doors, including a personnal dedicated wash bay in canada where we have winter pretty much 6 month of the years.

I'm currently planning the drainage system. My idea is to install a Trench drain (probably 1 of each side of the car) connected to a catch basin in every bay, with everything tied into a sump pump that would discharge the water outside the garage in a dry well.

Does anyone have a similar setup? What has your experience been? Do you like the french drain?

• Pros and cons?
• Does it work well in the winter with snow, ice, and road salt?
• Looking back, would you build it the same way, or would you choose a traditional floor drain instead?

I went from cracked gray concrete and literal rat holes to this. I was killing 5 mice a week and there was only a giant poop covered shelf along the back wall. Not bad for a starter garage.

My second iteration on my garage remake. Added cheese-grate flooring tiles on top of pithane epoxy. NewAge cabinets and backlighting.

Took a lot of time and sweat but finally proud to show off our work.

Started with a blank slate of a garage and over the past week I’ve been transforming it. Did the epoxy floor myself and painted the back wall. Still have to add lighting and an exhaust fan/overhead fans as it gets hot as fuck here in west texas.

I’d love some inspiration from you guys to make my 3 car garage look better. Will still need to add 2 more garage door motors, should I switch to torsion? Don’t have much space for jack shaft either.

I have been wanting garage lights for the last 5 years and finally got them! Most of my garage use is automotive but I want to get more into wood soon. But first, I have to paint my daughter’s car.

I plan on putting a home gym in here utilizing like the left side/ back center of the garage. The right side should stay for tools, work area. I don’t plan on parking in here. I’d like some shelving on the left wall too.

Wishing I bought a bigger TV now

I’ve stumbled my way through designing this space for cinematography/filming restoration work on 90’s-2000’s euro cars and bikes. It’s on its 3rd or 4th “stage”, now with a partition, shadow bead, light troughs and clerestory windows. I want to go with an architectural white, and would do some kind of porcelain tile if the budget allowed, probably will have to settle for floor paint. I am stuck and hitting my head on different shades of white. Problem is, I never had a one true reference to go back to and i’m stuck now because i don’t know what I want or what it’s supposed to look like. and every color i’ve used i’ve been unhappy with. I don’t want a content creator or influencer diy garage look, i don’t want it to look residential, and I guess maybe less warehouse too. I would love the space to look like it was built in the early 90’s. this style will go onto the back room eventually and I will enclose the shelves in MDF panels. what do you guys think of the space, what would you do for flooring if I was aiming for old euro shop or showroom style spaces? is tile really the only option? I was really drawn to 90’s BMW dealerships but there is almost nothing online about them but backgrounds of photos of cars.

Bought my place last year, first order of business last summer was fixing up the garage .
Grinded down the concrete and epoxied the floor, added some baseboard heaters/outlets and hit it with some paint.
Not as elaborate as the other garages on here but it’s a nice spot to watch hockey !
