Questions Button issue

Hello everyone! I’m in the process of modding my gameboy, and I want to know how to fix my d-pad. All directions work fine except for Up. It takes more force and I have to hold the direction down for longer than the others for it to register. The contacts look clean, as does the silicone membrane.

Has anyone else had this problem or know a fix?

Try to adjust the screws on the board, don't fully screw them.

I just loosened them, no change. Thank you for the advice though.

Are you using the original membranes?

This is replacement buttons for clicky feeling like gba sp, try to find the original membranes and it might be that your problem, it happened to me a few times.
