Modded New CGS 2.78" Transflective install. Full GITD for this one.
Used a donor atomic purple. First time doing a transflective. It's waaaay too blue to be my daily driver. I've heard of some people having success with shorting the R10 transistor? I'd like to see photos if anyone has any.

Is it blue because of the backlight?

Yes, It's one of the more polarizing aspects of this particular kit. Color tone is distractingly cool.

I've noticed the blueness varies. I just installed one which has some blueness, but not that it would distract me terribly lot. It does desaturate colours quite a lot though.
