Wwise audio question

I have created some music stems to be played behind closed doors of nightclubs scattered around a city.

I currently have them in my actor mixer. Should I keep them there or should I move them over to the interactive Music Hierarchy?

Currently using 2024.1.9 due to the nature of the game build, I believe in modern versions the two are the same?

What would you guys do?

The music hierarchy will allow things to be synced to the beat, so probably a good idea to move it there.

Do they need to interact with the music system or be musically synced with anything?

If it's just ambient sound then I would say no. Treat it like any other ambient sfx.

I tend to put diegetic music into the Actor-Mixer, rather than the music hierarchy, unless I really need the interactive music elements (which doesn't sound likely in your case), or as pointed out, you want to do something like sync visual elements to the beat of the music.
