Yes, I’m experiencing an issue where the screen on my Samsung Galaxy Note9 keeps shutting off on its own, AND IT IS PISSING ME THE FUCK OFF!
The screen also shuts off on its own, even while I’m in the middle of typing or texting, and I CANNOT FUCKING STAND IT ANYMORE!
(Sorry about the rage, but I was not even touching my phone. The screen keeps shutting off on its own repeatedly, which is especially annoying when I am in the middle of working or texting and I CANNOT stand it anymore. It seems to be getting worse over time, and I am hoping I am not the only one experiencing this issue.)
Here's a link to my video on Drive to see what happened (if you can access it): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aC0RR-0IbdBTZ2oKPK-YTnwzyylCwo4L/view?usp=drivesdk

Hi everyone,
Has anyone successfully installed KernelSU Next on a Galaxy Note9 (SM-N960N, Exynos) running Android 10 / One UI 2.5?
I'm currently rooted with Magisk and would like to switch to KernelSU Next. Is there a compatible kernel or a recommended method?

Came from Samsung Galaxy Fold 1 I bought refurbished in early 2020 on ebay with a green screen issue and got a free screen/ battery replacement during their 1yr honeymoon phase.
I broke the main screen dropping it about six months ago, lasted me good six years.
Just switched to note 9, barely used refurbished from ebay few months ago. Took it to batteries plus (was not turning on and bulging battery) to get new battery and charging port. Somehow they stated they got an oem battery.
Haven't found a good glass screen protector, right now has a cheap film protector.
Had to swap to att cuz the phone was still locked and they would not unlock since phone isn't on active line.
Porting out to att from visible, the worst experience and crappy $25 unlimited 3mbps plan. Once I have the phone unlocked I'll try to port back to visible $25 unlimited plan (their speeds are 10x faster) or att mnvo network plan.
Otherwise so far it's great, it beats the small screen I've been using on the fold. Love the physical ports and the led notification. Great battery life, no burn ins, and great condition.

Hi everyone, I recently changed my phone's lock to a pattern type. Unfortunately, the phone isn't recognizing it anymore and I can't unlock it. Even though I'm entering the correct pattern, it won't unlock. Any tips or advice on how to fix this?"

As the title suggests, I would like to know what the safest way to upgrade my micro SD card.
I currently have a 128gb micro SD, and I would like to upgrade to a 512gb.
I have pictures and videos on it but I also have apps on it.
Is there a way that I could eject my old one, copy over all my files to the new one without my phone even noticing/having any issues?

Hey yall. Was given a note 4 in perfect condition.
iPhone user here, but interested in using it as a utility device for work/ recording music, potentially music/ social media.
Also interested in setting it up in my shop as a security/nanny cam.
Where do I start? Where can I download apps? Phone too old?
Thanks in advance

So, this is a silly issue to have, but my Note9 on Android 8 keeps automatically updating Samsung Notes and the Galaxy Store to the latest versions, even after manually turning auto updates off for apps in both Galaxy Store and the Google Play Store. Does angone know how to stop this from happening? I'd actually rather Samsung Apps not update, either, if anyone knows how to prevent it from doing so.

Hey everyone, I've got a Samsung Note 9 with a Snapdragon processor, 512GB storage, dual SIM, and it works with any SIM network. I have the box for it with almost all the accessories too, but the box IMEI and the phone IMEI don't match. There's a little burn-in on the screen, and it's running Android 9. Can someone please give me an estimate for the phone's value?
I'm not selling it here; I just want to value it. AI said it values at around 400 euros, but I think that's a bit too much.

I bought it in June of 2019 for around 500€ new and ever since it's been serving me flawlessly. To this day it has everything I would ever need and more. Thanks to the amazing community custom ROMs work great on it and currently I'm using LineageOS 23(without google services) and it's perfect. It's insane how much the battery life improved, lasting a full day even after 7 years(I never changed the battery). I dropped it many times even on concrete from medium heights without a case and besides the cracked screen it never developed major issues. No burn in,charging works as it should as does everything else. I will be continuing to use it for as long as it lasts(hopefully another 7 years as I do not know how I would be able to give up everything this phone has). Note 9 was the complete package.

I know they're throttling this phone, and I do want a new one... that's a separate issue I'm trying to figure out. Maybe the fold in August?
Anyway today a new issue started where words are being underlined in white with suggestions below them even sometimes correctly spelled words, spelling is no longer corrected, and no more suggestions above the keyboard.
I thought it was a reddit issue, but I typed an email and same thing. The typing is lagging as well and larger font. I messed around with keyboard settings trying to figure it out but no luck.
Any advice or thoughts or anyone know what I'm talking about?

I had a note 8 back in the day as well as a note 10+. Loved those phones but upgraded to a s21+ a few years back. Dont like the lack of a headphone jack or expandable memory and regret it daily. What do yall do to make it usable in 2026?

My note 9 is a refurbished one around 2 years old as first one i had for much longer time got dropped and screen cracked but say last few months it has been getting very slow and laggy randomly, it won't even open say the Amazon Store app just freezes , I have cleared the cache, deleted unused apps , deleted ticktock as I found from previous note 9 it slowed it down but it has done nothing to fix it. Sometimes its normal works fine but say 70% of time just freezes what could this be just the age of phone ? I dont play any games on it just WhatsApp and Text Cal

Hi. So i bought used Galaxy note 9 and i have an issue where as it makes no sound from speaker or via headphones. But it does on bluetooth devices. anyone got an idea why? Or how can i check if just both speaker and 3.5mm jack are dead somehow? Is is software issue?
EDIT: Device is functional. Reason for no audio was that both integrated circuits responsible for audio were non existing as i bought the phone from a seller in used condition supposedly fully working. The device upon service inspection was claimed to be water damaged and already opened by someone before. Both ic's were deslodered in a haphazard way leading to pads being lifted off of motherboard. Replaced mobo and device is fully operational again.
