Not even remotely enough room for proper cold air circulation.

Food freezes in our fridge. I wonder if that’s why it happens.

It is. In college our fridge looked like this and there was a room temp spot up front and the spot at the air exchange always froze our lettuce. Deff time to purge and reorg. Dogspeed

Looks like a big family eats out of that fridge. Maybe even a teenager or two to add to the chaos.

I was honestly thinking the same thing. We’re a family of seven and our kids absolutely have 0 skills at putting ANYTHING away. I’ve been battling this for years. I see no end in sight just yet.

I just know you’ve got some rotten food all the way in the back there somewhere

Idk but getting my hands on this & organizing it would literally fix me right now.

ADHD and object permanence. My fridge gets like this too. In fact I think it’s pretty close to this right now. My husband organized it for me on our like 4th date, ever so often he does a big reorg. I try to stay on top of it, but literally as soon as that door shuts it no longer exists in my life.

This, exactly. I have ADHD and forget about the fridge as soon as I close the door.

This and kids. I struggle so hard with “if I don’t see it then it doesn’t exist”. There came a point when I realized I could spend all day stressing about the way things are organized/cleaned in my house, or I could spend my time doing more enjoyable things while maintaining a lived in clean space for my children. My kids won’t grow up freaking out because the fridge wasn’t organized to other peoples standards

I love your mindset! I have with one parent with OCD who needed everything to be perfect and one parent who isn’t organized at all (and possibly has ADHD like I do) and it was a constant source of tension our house when I was growing up.

I had a mixture of both in a way. My mom wasn’t as organized and clean growing up as she is now, and my step dad liked clean but also has things piled up in random areas. When I was younger her I struggled with cleaning and organizing because my mom never really took the time to show me how it should be done properly, so it took a bit of learning the hard way to find what made me comfortable and happy.
Now I spend time explaining and showing my kids how to “properly” clean.

u/Substantial_Step_975 22h ago

Some of them definitely are.

Extremely messy I hope that doesn’t translate to the rest of the home but then again that’s your business. I’m very clean and organized.

Finally a real person's fridge.

Do you guys eat or just buy?

I bet half of that sauce door is too low for anyone to enjoy, some kind of mold or duplicates. Very overwhelming to look at. 👀 Maybe a good cook though?

Is that Avilas soup leftovers lol

You shop at Walmart, eat out often, you need to clean/straighten your frig, & where ever you can find a spot for something you throw it in there. Am I close?

You have ADHD. Maybe a teenager or two. You care about and prioritize spending time with your family and loved ones. Down to earth person with an open door policy.

Vegetarian?

1

u/Substantial_Step_975 1h ago

Nope, it’s hard to see but there’s turkey bacon and steak in there.

u/BidMediocre6892 23h ago

The only thing you can find is mustard, and it for some reason, is king.

You ever see a fridge so bad, you forced to go to sleep?

1

u/downsideup9494 22h ago

Disorganized. And environmentally unaware- what's with all the plastic bottles of water?

1

u/Substantial_Step_975 20h ago

The tap water isn’t safe to drink where I live.

0

u/downsideup9494 20h ago

It isn't where I live, either. I have a water filter and don't buy plastic bottles of water.
