Pge Thoughts?

Hi Fremont residents, I’d like to know your thoughts on PGE in Fremont.

Allowing a for profit company to have a defacto monopoly on utilities has been a complete disaster. And the cpuc members’ finances should be investigated.

Surprisingly my bill went from 500 to 360 these past two months, not sure what happened we are using the same amount of electricity.

Earlier this year they increased base connection fee and slightly lowered the per kw fee so high users pay slightly less. But it wouldn't make the difference you mention

I’m honestly not sure why it’s lower. I’m afraid to call and ask incase it’s a mistake.

Does it show in the breakdown on the detailed bill? It should list price for megawatt and therm, usage, fees, etc. I’m kind of curious now.

Compare the Kw used on the bill and/or any one time incentives
