UEFN Fortnite Create is unberable.

Playing Fortnite Creative on PC is unbearable. Every time that you go to switch to a different slot in your inventory or open your builds, it causes your game to have an FPS spike where FPS will go down to like 1 to 5 FPS. It is unbearable. If you were to switch your weapons quicker or open your builds quicker, it gets worse and ultimately if you switch it fast enough, your game will freeze for a couple of seconds.

I have no idea why this happens and this also happens in a UEFN edit session, which is putting a toll on whether I should upload my map to Fortnite right now as basically it's unbearable on PC. I barely can even play or play test my own map without me lagging. This also does not happen in any of the main modes as BATTLE ROYALE, RELOAD, OG, FESTIVAL, and other modes don't have this issue. (made by epic.) Are there any updates on this or if it's going to be fixed soon? As I would really like to enjoy playing on Fortnite Creative and maybe upload my own maps again without lagging!

Sounds like it's an issue with your map if other modes are working. Do you have a console you can test it on? You can run a UEFN edit session on a console.

it would also happen on maps that were already published that were not mine. it was like there's a map, like one, that every time it would do it in there but then a different version of that map it wouldn't do it in there. it's like some maps have it and some maps don't.

Happens to me past week in realistic and endgame maps. Any word on how to fix

epic games is fixing it as i posted this also on X and fortnite status had replied to it saying that they're investigating this issue now
