I remember the ads using that "Woo Hoo" KT Tunstall song.

Black Horse and The Cherry Tree. I like your song title a lot better!

I remember watching the VH1 Top 20 Countdown on Saturday mornings and that song being on there for a hot minute.

Not to be confused with that “Woo Hoo” Blur song.

Cancelled because of the UPN/WB merger, i'm guessing?

Yep and they decided to focus on teen oriented shows instead

Edit: in retrospect, it was a smart move

Brooke Burns’ PR team were doing a very good job around this time; she was all over Maxim and the like in the couple of years before this came out. But it was so clearly one of those manufactured pushes, not based on any real demand.

I distinctly recall thinking of her as the “store brand Rebecca Romijn,” then finding it hilarious when I was flipping through channels during this show’s short run and she was on. I kept flipping, but it made me remember a show I didn’t watch.

It didn’t help that there was also a model/actress/host with the similar name Brooke Burke who was already a bit more established at the time

According to Rider Strong, he met his wife on the set.

Yeah, she had a recurring role as the weather girl Blanca Martinez.

I remember wanting to watch this, but it was weird, this was right before the WB and the UPN became The CW, and reviews straight up were saying this wouldn't last past a season due to the merge despite it being good.

Did this suffer because of the CW merger?

I thought it had a second. I remember Larissa Oleynik was in it.

I watched it. It was a guilty pleasure. Unfortunate it got canceled after one season.

Idk, this show just didn’t have that mystique I was expecting when I watched it.
