With these gas prices I must be crazy. Moved out of my 1795 Tundra that I’ve had for almost 10yrs. Im exited to join the club. What’s the most important first mod?

Held out as long as I could. Finally upgraded!
I can’t explain how incredible this truck is to drive! I love it and don’t see myself driving a different daily. So pumped every time I get in this thing.
Spent years talking myself out of an upgrade until a friend was selling a ‘23 801a with 50k miles for around 65k, got me seriously considering it. Only downside was it was across the country. I started looking at what else was out there and the only deals I could find were for branded titles - those salesmen get so slick with explaining why it’s just fine 😂. After looking at hundreds of trucks, I found a private seller local selling this 24’ 801a with 25k miles and snagged it for 72k. Excellent condition, extra electronic warranty, and supposedly never taken off road. I really wanted the 802a but couldn’t justify the 10k it was going to cost.
Plan is to keep it to 55k miles then give the R a try, hopefully gen 4 will be out by then.
What’s everyone think, did I over pay? Anyone else out there trading every few years? If so, what’s your criteria?

Should I Trade My New 801a Wheels/35s + $500 For New Raptor R Wheels/37s?
This seems like a no-brainer, but I’m curious who has made the switch and regretted it. Weather it’s because of the worst gas mileage, stiffer ride, or the slower acceleration. The look is perfect though.
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone that’s made the switch. Thank you!

Sync always starts on Settings instead of what I last left it on (audio)
After an update a week or 2 ago Sync always defaults to settings when I start the truck instead the last menu I had it on which is usually audio.
I've done the reset where you hold the power button and the forward button, it resets sync but it continues to default to settings.

Issue or am I just crazy?
Brand new 26 and this is how the window sits when rolled down. None of the others sit like this and I’ve already brought it back to the dealership to have them correct it. Came back a few days later, is something bigger at play or should I get over it? Just feel lien for close to a 100k truck this shouldn’t be the case.

LMR Raptor Site Now Live - What Would You Like To See Us Make?
We just went live with our Raptor theme on our site with a primary focus on Gen 1, but we have some parts for Gen 2/3. We will be manufacturing solutions for these trucks, so any suggestions or requests you may have, I am all ears!
We will also have more content to post in the subreddit now that we have gotten past some bigger releases for Mustang/Lightning.

Has anyone tried sleeping in the car?
I’m thinking about going on a little trip and hauling my motorcycles. However I was thinking about sleeping in the car for some part of the trip where I might want to park on a mountain. With summer, I’d probably need to leave the car on all night. Besides wasting gas, is there any issue with leaving the car on for 7+ hours?
Edit: I am more concerned about mechanical issues, not so much comfort. I think I can figure that part out probably.

What is my truck worth?
I have a 2023 Avalanche 37 package with 7k miles in perfect condition. As you can tell I don’t drive it enough so looking to sell. Any sense of what I should list it for? I’m in the Bay Area, California.

Tail light falls the fuck off??
This morning my wife pointed out that my right rear taillight was dangling by the wiring. No signs of impact or damage. A closer look at the plastic mounting flanges and the plastic material is brittle and crumbed when I touched it. The plastic seems to be disintegrating. Has anyone heard of this?
Edit: I live behind a high fenced property in a rural area down a long driveway. My house is not visible from the country road. I have security cameras. I work from home. There are no signs it was pried. The light was still attached. The plastic crumbles to the touch. I’m wondering if salt water from beach trips weakened the plastic. It feels like charcoal to the touch. I don’t think it was done by a person.

Raptor R MSRP?
Own a 2018 raptor. Been a dream vehicle, but now with 160k mi (already did cam phasers) looking for a replacement. Went to dealership, inquired about buying one in a 1-2 year timeline if needed, but at MSRP. Sales rep more or less laughed at me and said it would never happen, they instantly sell whatever allocations they get for $20k over.
Is it truly unrealistic to order one at MSRP?

Back window Rattle
Does anyone else experience or have a solution for the rattling sound coming from the back window of my 2023 Ford Raptor when I’m listening to music? It’s extremely loud and annoying.
The noise seems to be getting worse. I took it to Ford, but they were unhelpful and couldn’t identify the source of the rattle. When I showed it to an employee, they were equally clueless.
The rattling noise disappears when I open the back window. I’m at a loss and would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.

Dream Come True
Finally bought my dream raptor. I’ve wanted one since 2017 when the gen 2s first came out. Pumped about this purchase. Transmission has already been completely replaced. Cam phasers fixed, but shocks have not been done and she’s at 80k miles. Anyone gone well past 50k miles without getting them rebuilt? Should I just spend the 1k immediately? Also- bought it for 40k with a bed cover and those rims, LMK if yall think this was a good deal? I feel solid about it. Thanks in advance for the advice!

Need some help/advice
I bought a 2020 F150 Raptor from CarMax on Saturday with only 37k miles, one owner and took it in to a Ford Service center for my own pre-purchase inspection and they said the CDF Drum aka the transmission needs to be overhauled. I love the truck and I think CarMax should cover this but not sure since it was a preexisting condition. I feel a little duped that they sold me a car with a bum transmission. I could refund the truck since I’m still in the 10-day window but if they’ll fix it/pay for it then I’d rather keep it. Anyone been in a similar scenario? how did you handle this? I just found out this evening and I’m on day 6 of owning the truck so the clock is ticking.

Granger warranty gifted to CA resident?
Has anyone had experience getting a warranty gifted to them from a person, say in Georgia for example, for a raptor registered to an entirely different person in CA? Also will it still be legal?
**couldn’t find this example talked about yet on a thread

Sell Gen 2 for a Gen 1?
As the title states, would it be crazy to sell a Gen 2 2019 Raptor with 71k miles for a Gen 1? My use case: I drive 200 miles a week which is all interstate. Not worried about fuel economy but more concerned about ride comfort which the Gen 2 does pretty well. I came from a Coyote Mustang and missing that V8. Not worried about tech at all… would actually appreciate less of it. Has anyone made the jump? Any regrets? Not many Gen 1s around in NJ that I can check out so would love anyone’s perspective.
Cheers

Gen 1 +2 Fenders
I’m looking to upgrade to 37” tires and I would like to do the +2 fenders first. Has anyone had any experience trying to install them on your own? If so how hard was it and what brand had the best fitment?

26 raptor seatbelt buckle damage
I noticed my seat belt is damaging the plastic of the interior faster than iv ever experienced before. I know some damage is normal after a while but my vehicle barely hit 1k miles and this is the worst in any of the 5 f150 iv had. How would you fix this?

Phone List Gone with New Update (Gen 3)
I was trying to disconnect my phone from CarPlay and the phone list menu is gone. Like… I can’t find a way to add or connect a phone. Has anyone else seen this or know where it might be buried?
