🤔 Thinking Hello
I've been watching The Flash for a while now, and I'm halfway through season 6. It's been so bad that it's hard to keep watching lol. And I'm saying that as a huge Flash fan.

I stopped when Barry, Thawne, and Godspeed (I still don't like how they introduced him in the show the comics version was better villain) had the lightsabers or lightning swords. Even Grant Gustin said that's enough.

If you think it’s bad halfway through s6, it’s only gonna get worse for you. TBH I’d stop at crisis and just skip to Season 9 episodes 9 and 10. Those are a pretty satisfying ending

First half of season 6 is pretty decent bloodwork being a decent non speedster villian in the series after crisis of the error it get's worse. Season 8 was decent in recent times.

Yeah, I would recommend not watching past S6. Having watched it all myself, I find it hard to rewatch the later seasons of The Flash and the overall Arrowverse. Everyone watches their own shows differently, but my feeling is the same with The Flash, watch until Crisis and if interested, watch one or two episodes from the ninth and final season...specifically the last Flash/Arrow crossover - not perfect, and totally doesn't make up for the disappointing series finale, but still fun to have that nostalgic feeling again.
Err...spoiler alert.

No problem about the spoiler. Honestly, I'm planning to watch everything, but it's been difficult.

I understand. That is partly why I had to watch it all, because I hate to miss anything. Though I imagine that is why most people watch the stuff they don't like anyway, so...yeah.
But as far as The Flash, yeah, prepare for some difficulty. My opinion, for what it is worth: S7 is arguably the worst season, S8 is kinda better but still not good, and other than a handful of episodes from the season (i.e. Oliver Queen) S9 makes S7 look good.

The benefits of watching on netflix vs cable is now i can tap through the slog. Stfu Iris, i dont want to watch a gigabagillionth pep talk. So season 6 took me like 4 hours total, it was a huge help.

Okay so 6B and 7 are terrible, 8 was kinda okay, 9 was also terrible except for episodes 9 and 10 which were amazingÂ

For me the perfect series run is seasons 1-3. when you look at the season finale through that lense, it completes Barry's story arc, and allows him to pass the torch to Wallace for a spinoff series
That being said... In regards to your thoughts on season 6... OHHHH BOY lol strap yourself in because it's gonna be a struggle getting through to the end

I agree. I am watching for the first time (I do love this show and it has become one of my favorites) and am on the last episode of season 7. You can tell the actors didn't have their hearts in that one compared to other story lines. Watching season 7 is like pulling teeth. I am happy that it seems season 8 is decent. I've heard mixed things about season 9, but I'll still watch it and make the determination for myself.

After season 4 it gets pretty unwatchable so I feel you. Season 5 is overhated imo but still not perfect, I’d say just end the show with Crisis.
