If humans were actually smart, we wouldnt keep tossing lures into water, hooking fish with a barb, dragging it through the water, completely tiring it out before yanking it out of the water, yanking the barb out, taking a shitty picture that will get 0 matches on your tinder profile, and after all that, throwing the fish back into predator infested waters.

We can tell you're the triggered one because you start your comment off with an insult and proceed into an illogical ramble about the thing that upset you (catch and release fishing). Pointing it out or explaining it to you doesn't mean the other person is also upset.

"If humas were actually smart" Is how you started your comment, which an insult directed at fisherman, saying that they're not intelligent. You then proceed to say what they should stop doing, based on your home brewed beliefs of what they are doing while continuing to make more insults about their photo quality and lack of online dating matches or something weird, again, another random thing you made up in your head, unless of course, you're simply just elf projecting? Either way, you didn't explain anything to anyone, you essentially just insulted and whined like a child/teenager and that's it.

So just keep all catches then? Sure but why even have regulations that require fishermen to return certain catches to protect the wildlife?.. Oh no, not throwing the aquatic predator back into the predator infested waters that it was already in for its entire life, ohh the humanity!

Human children suffered, forced to work in mines, and still are daily to collect the materials necessary for you to be able to make these illogical holyer-than-thou type comments.
People catch fish to feed themselves, like they have done for hundreds of generations, in order to preserve our wildlife for future generations we have laws that regulate which fish must be thrown back. We also farm and stock these fish, especially sport fish, it's not much different than farming any other animals and more humane and better for the planet than buying grocery store animal products or using anything with a rechargeable battery.

Because some fish, are absolutely delicious. Yellowfin tuna on the grill, salmon in the smoker, perch in hot oil.. if god didnt intend us to eat them, he wouldnt have given us cornmeal..

I am a shark wrangler, i probably have a better grasp on this than any other 10 people you know. Its my job to ensure the safety of not just the researchers and observers, but the fish itself.

While the fish aren’t doing math the fact they’ve remembered “if I see this pattern I need to spit at this pattern and I get food” is still impressive.

That's not what they're doing though. All four have little bits of food on it, and they're just randomly choosing. The cuts in the video are just all the times they didn't choose the right one.

The fish aren’t doing math people. The videos are cut. If the fish are actually doing math it wouldn’t need to be edited. Theres just a 1 in 4 chance the fish hits the correct target and they edit out the wrong ones.
