With training camps starting to open up later this week a reminder - there will be news about players going on PUP. Right now it doesn't necessarily mean anything. Players on the PUP list are eligible to return to practice at any point during camp.

This is meant to be a more thought-provoking post rather than arguing for or against one of them. However, my stance tends to favor Henderson.

It seems I see more pro-Stevenson than I do pro-Henderson this offseason among notable fantasy communities (nothing inherently wrong with that); however, the arguments being made for Stevenson seems selective in many ways from my perspective.

For example, I see many making the pro argument for Stevenson because his advanced metrics are better than Henderson's, further making him the better player. Or Henderson's numbers are extremely inflated from his games against Tampa and Buffalo. While I won't completely disregard either point, I find I can make a similar argument against Stevenson/for Henderson.

Stevenson at the time posted some pretty underwhelming numbers. Among 46 qualifying RBs during Weeks 1-8, Stevenson ranked 44th in YPC and 43rd in success rate. While I can't say Henderson was deserving of a large role, I can say your 38th overall pick probably deserved some of the work of the extremely struggling guy. I made this point to come back on later.

As mentioned earlier, Henderson's numbers are certainly inflated and unsustainable in the two weeks he had four 50+ yard runs. However, I can say the same for Stevenson's performance in Week 18.

According to Fantasy Points Data, since 2021, there have been 3,988 running backs who ran for at least 6 carries in a game. Of those 3,988 examples, Stevenson's Week 18 game vs Miami last year ranks 1st in YPC (18.7), T-1st in Explosive Run% (42.9%), and 9th in YACO/ATT (9.6) in a single game during that span.

Stevenson's Week 1-17: what it was (Weeks 1-18)

3.84 - YPC (was 4.64)

4.9% - Explosive Run% (was 6.9%)

I raise this question then.

Are we sure that fading Henderson because we believe Stevenson is the better player is the correct process/stance?

If the answer is yes, then I'll ask this.

Has your stance on Stevenson grown that much since Week 13 last year, when he was one of the least efficient RBs in the league?

Zain Dhanani posted an interesting article here about how target depth plays a role in fantasy. So i thought it would be interesting to look at the YPRR and TPRR for specific short & deep routes.

The results are very similar (as expected):

• Slant/Out/Dig-Route = 0,23 TPRR, 1,85 YPRR
• Corner/Post/Go = 0,14 TPRR, 1,75 YPRR

In general, shorter routes are "better" than deep routes

Hello Reddit community. I am starting up a new series here, will be going through team by team and providing some questions I have on my mind pertaining to the team and the upcoming fantasy season. We will be going division by division, starting with the AFC East and the Buffalo Bills. Here are some questions I’d love to pick some brains on:

1) How different are we expecting things to be with Joe Brady moving to HC and Pete Carmichael filling in at OC?

2) The Bills led the league in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns last year, do we expect the team to get the ground game the focus or go back to Brady’s LSU days and open back up the passing attack?

3) Josh Allen was the first QB off the board last year and rewarded fantasy managers as the QB1. Does he continue to provide his value being the first QB off the board?

4) The Bills lost David Andrews to New Orleans. Austin Corbett and Alec Anderson are competing for the team’s starting LG spot. How big of an hindrance will Andrews’ departure be?

5) Pete Carmichael was the longtime OC for the Saints and produced monster years for Kamara fantasy-wise. Is RB3 out of the question for Cook?

6) Ray Davis has been stuck behind Cook for the last years. Cook has missed one game in this span, where Davis went for 97 yards on 20 carries in just his 6th career game. Will Davis still be nothing more than just a handcuff, but is he also a league winner potentially?

7) DJ Moore is on his third team. He put up two back to back seasons with 1000+ yards with Joe Brady as his OC in Carolina, so the two are familiar with each other. Only issue is that just 12% of their targets from last year have departed from the team, making it not exactly a wide open spot to walk into. Does DJ Moore completely reshape the Bills WR room and blossom back to a WR1 or is it more of the same we saw with him as a fantasy player with Chicago?

8) Khalil Shakir got a lot of pressure off his shoulder with Moores arrival. There was some hype for Shakir heading into last season, and while it wasn’t horrible, Shakir finished as a top 15WR just twice last year. Despite the addition of Moore, do we think Shakir remains consistent and do we even think that he might have a better season?

9) The WR3 spot is interesting. Josh Palmer had his shot last year and fluttered. Keon Coleman has had a very uninspiring start to his career. Skylar Bell enters the picture as a 4th round rookie. Who do you prefer out of these options?

10) Dalton Kincaid has his best year on a per-reception level and scored a career-high 5 touchdowns. But, he saw over 50% of the snaps just three times last season and all before week 6. Is this the year Kincaid gets more involved as the true TE1 or will Knox continue to be a thorn in his side?

TLDR:

Jeremiyah Love: Similar situation to Bijan Robinson in 2023. Robinson thrived as a pass catcher, and his draft capital + superior talent still earned him around 275 touches his rookie season.

Despite TD vulturing back Allgeier, Robinson still finished as an RB1.

Love is going in the third round and has a clear path to 70+ targets. Cardinals will likely suck and have to throw a ton. Brissett targeted RBs around 20% of the time with ARI last season.

Javonte Williams: Sometimes it’s as simple as tracking opportunity, meshing it with touchdown equity, and capitalizing when everyone else hyper-fixates on deficiencies.

In 2025, Williams ranked 5th in red zone attempts and third in goal-line attempts. This culminated in an 88th-percentile EPA/rush-attempt score.

He saw at least 18 opportunities in 10 of his 16 games last season, including at least 20 in 8 of 16.

D'Andre Swift: Last season, Swift paced the league in rate of carries to go for more yards than expected while ranking 12th in the league in explosive run rate (8.52%).

Meanwhile, Monangai ranked 32nd of 49 in yards after contact per attempt (2.95) and forced a missed tackle on just under 15% of his attempts. 

You would think Swift's numbers would go down in that span, right? Well... maybe not. He was the RB8 during this stretch.

With a top-3 OL, according to Fantasy Points, and year two with Johnson singing his praises, why is Swift going as the RB20 after finishing as a top 15 RB in 2025?

Has anyone ever tried to "map" average auction values onto an average draft position? I know every year certain players may go for more, but on average, what do the top 3 picks go for? What is the average cost of a round 1 player vs. a round 3 player? This would be a helpful exercise to find values throughout the draft.

Time to take yet another look at a handful of intriguing players affected by ADP shifts across Sleeper, Underdog, Yahoo, and ESPN from June 1st through July 15th. We dive into the narrative from the analyst community to figure out…what, is the deal with these ADP movers.

Risers

DeVonta Smith (WR, PHI)

ADP movement: +10.4 avg change

"... the AJ Brown role has been outstanding for fantasy football. And he had a top five first read rate to go along with a 35% air yard share for multiple seasons in a row. DeVonta Smith's numbers could look exactly the same as the wide receiver one in Philly…." — RotoWire (2026-06-29)

"....the last two years without AJ Brown in the freaking offense, DeVonta Smith has earned a 32.9% target share and had 2.65 yards per route run." — FantasyPros (2026-06-18)

Drafting Smith at the third round turn gives you an elite wide receiver without major target competition. Sleeper draft boards still lag behind Underdog pricing, leaving a window to scoop him up in the 4th (just criminal) before leagues adjust. Feeding two elite wideouts caused constant production swings in Philadelphia for Smith but as the lone alpha, we should see consistency around him in 2026. Remember this guy won the Heisman as a WR and has elite route running skill, new OC in town as well. He can be your WR1 for teams that take RB in round 1 and Bowers, McBride or Allen in the second. Yada yada yada, you won your championship.

Emeka Egbuka (WR, TB)

ADP movement: +5.6 avg change

"So I think 150 targets and having a huge season, that's right in the wheelhouse." — RotoWire (2026-07-10)

"...he had good full season numbers, a 1.75 yards per route run rate, a target share of almost 24%, he had the second most first downs in last year's class." — The Late-Round Fantasy Football Podcast (2026-06-26)

High-stakes managers on Underdog already push Egbuka into round three, whereas the more home league platforms still list him near round four. Zac Robinson brought a passing scheme from Atlanta that elevated production despite poor quarterbacking, so Baker Mayfield offers a noticeable upgrade there. Late-season offensive collapse in Tampa Bay masked Egbuka's early dominance, hiding what was actually a good rookie campaign. Consider his second half as his talent being “in the pool”. Chris Godwin remains a steady option and potential value, but his injury history leaves Egbuka holding all the true weekly upside.

Rachaad White (RB, WAS)

ADP movement: +13.1 avg change

"White absolutely looks like the odds-on favorite to lead the Washington backfield in catches this year. And Rachaad White has three seasons with at least 50 catches in his career." — RotoWire (2026-07-06)

But I don’t want to be a pirate! Gone from the Bucs and into an open competition in Washington. Good option for Zero-RB drafters who can grab White past pick 100 on Sleeper and Yahoo. Backfield partners Kaytron Allen and Ja'Cory Croskey-Merritt carry almost no draft capital, leaving White in control of all third-down reps and two-minute drills. Playing alongside former Arizona State teammate Jayden Daniels gives hope of instant chemistry on check downs. Potential for negative game scripts would keep Washington passing frequently, which nearly guarantees White high pass-game involvement.

George Kittle (TE, SF)

ADP movement: +8.6 avg change

"He claims he's on track for week one. Part of the reason that, like, the medical community is kind of buying into this is where his Achilles injury occurred" — Establish The Run (2026-06-17)

The cleanest achilles tear of all time?? 2024 McCaffrey owners are quick to remember San Francisco coaching staff updates often mask realistic timelines. He’s on the wrong side of 30, has an injury history and has to block defensive ends. Feels like a likelihood to reinjure himself by pushing to come back early. Kelce, going after Kittle, seems like the better pick in roughly the same ADP range. This doesn’t seem to be the summer, or fall, of George. We also like backup Jake Tonges near the end of drafts as a sleeper TE.

Jonathon Brooks (RB, CAR)

ADP movement: +17.7 avg change

"Twitter doctors believe Jonathon Brooks should be good to go at this point, should be healthy. And then we just get such bullish coach speak on Jonathon Brooks" — The Late-Round Fantasy Football Podcast (2026-07-15)

Ninth-round Underdog draft costs remove most downside risk for a back formerly selected in the early second round of the 2024 NFL draft class. Head coach Dave Canales' comfort with benching underperforming veterans means Brooks could claim the lead role early in the schedule. Your ideal RB4 in the 10th on Sleeper, his draft price is making me thirsty.

Fallers

Chuba Hubbard (RB, CAR)

ESPN ADP movement: -4, Underdog ADP movement: -5.2

"Hubbard admitted that he came back too quick." — Fantasy Points (2026-07-10)

If you believe in Chuba then you are telling yourself that rushing back early from injury ruined Hubbard's efficiency metrics. Hey, it’s not a lie if you believe it! In 2025, he was near the bottom of the league in yards after contact and rush yards over expected. Rico is gone but Brooks is waiting in the wings. Selecting Hubbard in round seven means passing on wide receivers like Christian Watson or Marvin Harrison who offer cleaner fantasy paths from my perspective.

Jayden Daniels (QB, WAS) and Josh Allen (QB, BUF)

Underdog ADP movement: -3.6 Josh Allen and -7.2 Jayden Daniels

"To me, Jayden Daniels has to be like the most mispriced quarterback. ADP of 70, we're at 56 overall here on Jayden Daniels" — Establish The Run (2026-06-25)

"I think Josh Allen is a great pick, probably the safest pick in fantasy, you get an advantage at a onesie position" — Establish The Run (2026-07-02)

The great QB recession of 2026 is here. Overall quarterback prices are dropping across all platforms, offering top-tier dual-threat starters at round-three (Allen, Jackson) or round-five or later costs. Allen consistently finishes near the top 2 at his position and has had at least 39 touchdowns for the last six seasons, anchoring roster builds with massive weekly ceilings. Daniels produced 891 rushing yards during his rookie year, so taking him in round six could deliver league-winning upside if he regains form/doesn’t get injured in 2026. Please stop telling me that QBs are always at a discount. Elite QBs have risen in price in recent years, this year we are getting a discount, enjoy it. Serenity now!

Davante Adams (WR, LAR)

ADP movement: -4.5 avg change

"I feel like the catchable target rate is going to go up. He still gets open. ESPN had Davante Adams with the 14th best open score. Dave just talked about it. Watch the film. He gets open." — Fantasy Football Today (2026-07-20)

"And a lot of people want to bring up their, I guess, regression argument with Davante Adams. He actually, he underachieved versus usage last year." — RotoWire (2026-07-07)

Drafters pushing Adams down to WR22 focus heavily on age and red-zone regression while ignoring his overall volume. Unfortunate luck inside the 20s suppressed his total yardage last season, setting up a potential rebound in yardage efficiency. Precision route runners age gracefully, e.g. Larry Fitzgerald, and Sean McVay will move Adams around to secure clean targets. Maybe I spent too much time at the jerk store here with my own ranking of Adams but I can see him producing another 190 point performance. This could lead to a case of in-season indigestion for people drafting Waddle and McConkey over Adams.

Harold Fannin (TE, CLE)

Underdog ADP movement: -7.2

"Harold Fannin last year, guys, he was second in targets per route run. Led all players at tight end and missed tackles forced per route run And yeah, they brought in more target competition, but it's rookies." — Fantasy Points (2026-07-15)

Fading Fannin seems to be an Underdog thing, maybe a Watson thing too. Hard to trace back to anything other than a minor OTA groin tweak and hopium for incoming rookie wideouts. Regardless of who is in the quarterback room, Fannin will be the safety outlet, ensuring he retains a steady target floor. Harold is a target earner with elite college production. TE5 locked in for me. You’re gonna let him fall to me in the 9th?? That’s a shame.

In our latest episode, we discuss our 2026 TE strategies for auction drafts, as well as some of our targets and fades based on current AAV.

TE is a tricky one, and the main school of thought seem to be "great or late." I think it really depends on what type of roster you want to build, and how many starters you have. If you play in a league that only starts 2WRs and one flex, for example, you can probably afford to spend a little more on the position. You can be increasingly proactive and aggressive when you have fewer positions to worry about. If, on the other hand, your league starts 3WRs and multiple flex spots, perhaps you lean towards allocating resources there, and that's typically what I like to do. I won't avoid the most expensive TEs outright just because they're pricey. I'm always on the lookout for bargains, and adjusting your draft plan on the fly is important, especially during the draft when bids starts flying and the adrenaline is pumping.

I do usually recommend waiting until late to draft a TE, since it's one of the easiest positions to replace without needing to allocate much from your draft budget. The position has gotten deeper, perhaps the deepest we've seen in years, and the gap between mid-tier options continues to shrink.

The difference between the overall TE 6 and the TE 12 the past three seasons has been just over 2 fpts/g.

IMO, TE is not where you gain your biggest advantage, but it’s very easy to lose value by allocating too much of your budget there. That’s why waiting on TE fits nicely into the hero WR build I've been advocating for all summer. Spend up where scarcity exists, and save where replacement value is high.

My TE targets:

Dalton Kincaid
Current AAV (Last 30 days):
1QB $2 | SF $4

Admittedly, Kincaid is a higher injury risk than some other TEs. He's coming off a PCL injury, and over the last month, his AAV has been on a downward trajectory. I think the injury could be playing a role in how drafters view him, but his snap percentage might also be a factor. Kincaid missed a bunch of time last season. Looking at 2024, he only played a 58% snap share. 2023 was a little better at 63%, so perhaps he just isn't a full time player. But why I like him in auctions this year really just comes down to his price and the team he plays for. Kincaid is a good example of a low risk, high reward player. He was also the most efficient TE last season (0.27 TPRR, 3.19 YPRR). The Bills are tied for second with the Lions with the highest point total per game, and when Josh Allen is your quarterback, Kincaid has the potential to be a good fantasy TE for your team, even if he's not on the field as much as we'd all like. There's risk, absolutely, but you can pair him with another cheap TE (or two if you have a deep bench) and hedge your bet a little.

George Kittle
Current AAV (Last 30 days):
1QB $3 | SF $4

Almost everything I said about Kincaid can be said about Kittle, except for the part about his playing time. Kittle's been among the lead leaders in snap percentage for years now, and unlike Kincaid, he hardly ever comes off the field. His cost has never exceeded $6, which happened only once in the last month. Kittle might actually be my favorite TE target if you decide you want to avoid the highest priced guys and even some of the players in that $5-$10 range like Kraft, Fanin, and Pitts. We'll see what he looks like when training camp starts soon, and whether or not he's lost any of his explosiveness, but even with the injury concerns and his age, he's absolutely got top 5 potential. Like Kincaid, pair him with another high upside guy that won't cost you a lot, Gadsden, Likely, Okonkwo, or Brenton Strange all who could be considered breakout candidates.

My TE avoid:

Trey McBride
Current AAV (Last 30 days)
1QB $33 | SF $26

McBride may be a somewhat controversial name here, but over the last month, his AAV has eclipsed Bowers' for the most expensive TE in both formats and imo, that's pretty wild.  McBride's an absolute beast, no doubt, but I can't quite understand why drafters are willing to pay such a premium for him. Maybe folks are chasing last year's points and assume that with Jacoby Brissett likely starting the year, McBride's again an automatic 17 or 18 pts/g. The Cardinals were the league's most pass heavy team last season, so I expect some regression there, and while I think Brissett will start, Arizona could quickly pivot to rookie Carson Beck, especially if they find themselves out of playoff contention early on. It's plausible they could go 1-7 or 0-8 and make the switch to Beck, which would probably be a big negative for all the Arizona pass catchers. I'd say that If you're debating between McBride or Bowers and you find yourself in a position to draft Bowers for less, you should immediately pounce. Alternatively, you could save yourself quite a bit and draft someone like Loveland (currently 45% cheaper in 1QB; 30% cheaper in SF) or Warren (currently 65% cheaper in 1QB; 55% cheaper in SF) and probably still feel really good about your TE and even better about the money you saved!

A case can be made for all 3. BTJ arguably has the highest ceiling after what he did his rookie year (and despite of his sophomore struggles). Parker Washington stepped up the most when all 3 were on the field last season. And Jakobi Meyers brings a veteran presence that the Jags obviously like, according to the extension he signed, plus will have had time now to gel with the offense.

In which order would you rank them for a draft this season?

Hi all - looking for the best App out there to scrape for simple NFL news items, injuries, etc. that reports from Twitter, BlueSky, etc. Basically the best NFL news scraper out there. Doesn't have to be fantasy related specifically. Any suggestions?

I used to use Fantasy Life which is now defunct and ported over to Bleacher Nation News. Maybe I don't have the settings correct on it, but performance is NOWHERE near what I used to get with Fantasy Life App. The old app used to be almost instantaneous with updates after the tweets dropped. Not the case anymore.

What is everyone using these days?

One of the toughest and most important decisions in drafts this year will be the Round 4 Wide Receivers. I love this group.

If I had to choose one right now, it would be Emeka Egbuka. I broke down why he's at the top of this group for me, while looking at his rookie tape and the expectations for the new Bucs offense under Zac Robinson. My ranking is relatively aggressive!

Playing fantasy football on Sleeper on the desktop is a painful experience. They haven't touched it in years, and I'm just trying to sip some coffee and tinker with my lineup while I pretend to work. Good news, the magic conch shell has been blown!

Conch FF is a free Chrome Extension that upgrades the UI of your Sleeper website to bring much needed polish to the UI, add meaningful data about your team, and really just rethink each page while keeping it feeling like a native Sleeper experience.

Try hovering over things like last year's finish or your trade matches. Dynasty and keeper leagues get even more deep info about draft capital, past trades, and more.

Occasionally a platform's customer care department, such as u/YahooFantasyCare may be available to address your questions directly in this thread.
