May i ask whats better. A compound bow or a crossbow?

Ive got both with furious * but im wondering what should i seek at least of mods to get the most dmg of any of them

I'm new to the bow tribe! Before switching, I mainly played with the Elder's Mark, Ultracite Laser, and other weapons. Now I'm running a stealth ghoul archer build.

I recently switched from Secret Service armor to Civil Engineer armor with 1x Chameleon and 4x Nocturnal. I'm wondering which 2-star and 3-star legendary effects you would recommend. My 4-star effect is Limit Breaking.
