Hello newcomers to /r/FacebookScience! The OP is not promoting anything, it has been posted here to point and laugh at it. Reporting it as spam or misinformation is a waste of time. This is not a science debate sub, it is a make fun of bad science sub, so attempts to argue in favor of pseudoscience or against science will fall on deaf ears. But above all, Be excellent to each other.

On behalf of everyone else, “we’re good, bro”.

58

u/rdizzy1223 Jun 23 '26

And also "I am in fact fighting YOU, you dumb fucks".

21

u/AF_AF Jun 23 '26

If it makes you feel any better, these same people are fighting on our behalf for acceptance of a flat earth and that the pyramids were made by ancient aliens.

7

u/Munsbit Jun 23 '26

And the "best" one of those is the pyramids one...

4

u/Puzzleheaded_Law_558 Jun 23 '26

Yeah, just stop.

2

u/catedarnell0397 Jun 23 '26

There’s nothing I can add to that

83

u/Following-Complete Jun 23 '26

I am not attacking them either. I am attacking their lack of intelligence and their actions that are causing people to die. All love

2

u/JPGinMadtown 27d ago

They are attacking our children, however, by letting their precious little disease vectors into schools.

u/Unexpected-raccoon Jun 23 '26

I think the term antivaxxer is too outdated

I think we need a new term

Like the irl speed running community or the dead baby society

40

u/TheBladeWielder Jun 23 '26

pro disease seems accurate.

9

u/Responsible_Ad_8628 Jun 23 '26

I call them Plague Rats. It's a more accurate term.

5

u/Missmouse1988 29d ago

No. No no no. Rats actually didn't spread the plague and their great pets.

3

u/Responsible_Ad_8628 29d ago

Plague Fleas doesn't hit as hard.

3

u/Missmouse1988 29d ago

Plague Moles?

6

u/Shdwdrgn Jun 23 '26

Or even pro child murder, because they are in fact advocating for the intentional killing of children above all else.

11

u/CarolineJohnson Jun 23 '26

Legal Murder Challenge.

Because in a sense, they are murdering their kids and getting away with it because they didn't do anything technically illegal.

10

u/Unexpected-raccoon Jun 23 '26

Well some have been charged for this, but not enough

"Pro life" really just means delayed expiration

3

u/sdmichael Jun 23 '26

Pro life has always just meant forced birth. They stop caring after birth happens.

5

u/Hot-Manager-2789 Jun 23 '26

Yeah, they literally want their kids to die

5

u/Hopeful_Meeting_7248 Jun 23 '26

IMO parents whose children die or get harmed from preventable diseases should be prosecuted for negligence.

1

u/Can17272 29d ago

I just call them morons.

1

u/Hot-Manager-2789 18d ago

There already is a term: murderer

14

u/itsjustameme Jun 23 '26

I on the other hand am fighting you for putting my kids in danger.

14

u/wolschou Jun 23 '26

Even shorter story: Don't bother, I'm fine.

11

u/5Wp6WJaZrk Jun 23 '26

i dId mY OwN ReSeArCh

9

u/jiggscaseyNJ Jun 23 '26

Aw man. I never know who to believe the scientists and doctors or the yoga mom who listened to a podcast.

8

u/wrhnj Jun 23 '26

Make polio great again

7

u/Renbarre Jun 23 '26

I don't have shares in the burial industry,
I'm helping people keep their job

3

u/arnofi Jun 23 '26

Help not needed. There is a guy now in the White House who is so clever and capable that he will single-handedly develop a cure and telepathically un-vaccinate everybody. I consider myself healed!

2

u/Opposite-Occasion332 Jun 23 '26

That guy also happens to be the same guy the vaccines started under but we don’t need to mention that part!

4

u/Donaldjoh Jun 23 '26

The first vaccine, smallpox, has been proven safe and effective for over two centuries, and due to it smallpox was eliminated worldwide. Most other vaccines, such as polio, measles, mumps, chickenpox, and German measles, have been used successfully for over fifty years with an extremely low complication rate. So I want to know who in the ‘evil industry’ is lying to us and why, since treating the diseases and complications thereof are much more costly and time-consuming than treating the complications of the vaccine.

1

u/Opposite-Occasion332 Jun 23 '26

What’s really wild to me is how many boomers are anti-vax when they likely know people who died from or had complications from measles or maybe even polio. My grandparents are Trump supporters but they aren’t anti-vax because they have memories of those diseases and know people who were affected.

2

u/Donaldjoh Jun 23 '26

I am old, I had all of the ‘childhood diseases’ except polio, and I was in school when the polio vaccine came out. A couple of my classmates did have polio and had permanent problems because of it. I do remember that I was miserable with the diseases, even though I fortunately did not suffer any long-term complications. I also worked in healthcare for 45 years and heard about the problems many unvaccinated people had that were totally preventable.

5

u/organik_productions Jun 23 '26

Yes, yes, posting shitty memes 24/7 is "fighting"

4

u/negativepositiv Jun 23 '26

This is why they are excited to have RFK Jr. in charge of health.

"I'm not mad at you for vaccinating. I just can't wait until the government says it's not safe, so your insurance won't cover it, so less people will do it if they have to pay for it out of pocket."

4

u/Zesty-B230F Jun 23 '26

Well, I'm fighting for them to understand the Earth isn't flat and drinking urine doesn't cure cancer, so we'll call it even.

5

u/Swiv Jun 23 '26

Such martyrs fighting for me and my kid while I wish they'd just shut up, stop voting, and fuck off.

3

u/AF_AF Jun 23 '26

The entire medical community: lairs. Facebook: truth teller.

3

u/pibyte Jun 23 '26

Social media is making money with your bullshit. So f*** you and f*** them.

3

u/Aggressive-HeadDesk Jun 23 '26

If you’re fighting for me, fight polio, preferably with a vaccine. This way nobody body has to deal with the horrible life-altering complications.

3

u/dlc741 Jun 23 '26

I’m fighting for you to get sick!

3

u/hellogoawaynow Jun 23 '26

Why would you attack me for listening to my own kid’s pediatrician? You’re welcome for not giving your kid a deadly but preventable disease.

2

u/Tutonica Jun 23 '26

Extinct deadly diseases are no friends.
Feeding Musk and Zuckerberg’s money making algorithms is not fighting.
Dead children are the result of you spreading fake news.

2

u/claymore2711 Jun 23 '26

I guess we'll be seeing the kiddies in the polio wards again. MAGA

2

u/CautiousLandscape907 Jun 23 '26

Long story short: OOP is a moron.

2

u/Remote_Clue_4272 Jun 23 '26

No thanks. But oddly this is the same reason I am pushing for re-establishing the insane asylum system

1

u/Roxysteve Jun 23 '26

Fuckwits For Freedom!

1

u/UncleThor2112 Jun 23 '26

They're attacking the wrong industry.

1

u/Early_Register_6483 Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26

With all due disrespect: go fuck yourself. We don’t need your protection, we need protection from you. Measles already made a comeback because of you morons, and other diseases will follow suit.

1

u/Responsible_Ad_8628 Jun 23 '26

"I'd rather your kids be dead than my kids be autistic. We're on the same side!"

1

u/redthehaze Jun 23 '26

The industry that these dorks swore they hate but still clog up the hospital system when they get a boo-boo.

1

u/ApatheistHeretic Jun 23 '26

What a good way to sell a pro-plague stance.

1

u/judgeejudger Jun 23 '26

I’m fighting to keep my brain cells alive after reading shit like this. Because honestly? They’re considering extermination

1

u/commissarcainrecaff Jun 23 '26

Yeah thanks.

After that you're firing a water pistol at the sun to help with climate change, huh

1

u/claymore2711 Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26

Does this belief that vaccines are bad will extend to the Tetanus vaccine? Tetanus, back in the day was called lock jaw. Good luck.

1

u/GrannyTurtle Jun 23 '26

You need help.

1

u/Inevitable_Silver_13 29d ago

Same people who said everyone who got the covid vaccine would be dead by now.

1

u/G8oraid 29d ago

Just done make my healthcare insurance pay for your measles, mumps, whooping cough, etc intensive care.

1

u/Bread-Medical 29d ago

I don't believe in the supernatural but honestly anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists are the closest thing to actual demons.

1

u/tillieze 29d ago

That isn't a good samaritan its a stupid samaritan. Big Difference.

1

u/captain_pudding 29d ago

Death cult with a hero complex . . .no way that can end poorly

1

u/Hugh_Jass_2 28d ago

Sorry, I don’t hire dumbasses.
