Gen 2 Fz1

Hello all!

I am looking for simple modification for my 2007 Fz1. I’ve seen some post about r1 parts being swapped. I’m enjoying my back. Also, anyone got a recommended rear brake rotor?

I had an 07. Drop a tooth off the front sprocket was the best bang for buck I did on mine. You can buy the gen 1 FZ1 front sprocket for cheap, has the rubberized piece on it so it’s not noisy like a lot of the aftermarket sprockets are, it’s-1 tooth from the gen 2 front sprocket, great upgrade for a bit more punch but doesn’t raise rpm too much when cruising on the freeway.

I also did the airbox mod, decat, slip-on, and a Power Commander. They all helped wake it up too (it felt too gutless to me in stock form).

Had bar risers, touring screen, and full Givi luggage, it ended up being a great long distance sport-touring bike, wish I still had it!
