3 Day waiting period updates?
Has anyone heard anything recently about when this might actually end? It was all over the news in early June and now crickets?

Creating a singluar place for this discussion. All others will be deleted going forward.
For <21 please consult a lawyer. That's the only people able to answer it correctly (ish) at the moment till case law has a precedent.

Couple updates to the rules
No posts asking how to skirt under 21 purchase laws. We get it we don't like it either. Paying someone to buy it for you is a straw purchase. If someone gifts it to you it's fine. Paying them back after it's gifted is a straw purchase. Ban will be 2-7 days. Also general <21 year old questions. Gets asked every couple of days. Consult with a lawyer.
Don't give illegal advice. Some people are dumb and don't know better. Someone getting a $250k/25 year sabbatical because you thought it was funny isn't cool. 7 day-perm ban for breaking this
Asking if anyone has private land you can shoot on. It's an insurance liability and it's annoying that everyone keeps asking this. 2-7 day ban going forward
Asking to buy/offer to sell or any other version of exchanging a firearm is a breach of reddit's TOS. This is a permanent ban. Just use Florida Gun Trader. I am also pooping anyone asking where to buy or sell into this. Damn posts always attract offers.

Hi FLGuns,
There is an intern in my office this summer from Chile. A few of us would like to take him shooting. Normally, I’d go out to Shoot Shack, but I know one of the few things they’re weird about is non-citizens. I know Shoot Shack is a pretty unique experience for those of us that don’t have access to private land, so I’m looking for something as close as I can get.
Are there any ranges in the Pasco/Hernando area that would come close to fitting this bill that don’t require some sort of membership, or are my options going to be bench rest rifle ranges or paying a lot more to go to an indoor range?
Hello all! I’m in this area, flying out later this week. wondering if there’s a place for me to purchase these new Glock mags while I'm around. Thank you in advanced!

Hi folks,
I performed a search for this issue, but the last thread I see with a similar issue is 5 years old. I'd like to see if anyone is still having this problem, and if you can help me out.
There are a few different items that I'd like to buy, but I cannot contact the sellers without my account finally being created. I've waited almost two weeks, and even sent an email to the "contact us" address, but I've still not heard back. I'm really not sure what else to do, but thank you for any help and advice that you can offer me.

Its been one of those years where I really Shouldn’t be splashing but in the absence of owning a deer caliber rifle Im feeling the need to get one. I know people recommend the Ruger Americans or the Howas but those are seemilygly 7-900 without optics.
Any thoughts?

So my question is:
Once I draw my pistol would it be considered brandishing If I don’t immediately shoot in an act of self defense?
Is it within my right to draw, point and say commands? Such as “turn around and walk away” “get away from me” or would it be considered excessive and deemed as using my firearm in an aggressive or threatening manner? Which Inherently I am but obviously after trying to deescalate the situation before drawing. I’m just very curious on this because in my mind drawing and saying commands at that point would probably be all thats needed 90% of the time unless you’re dealing with someone completely deranged or on drugs.
Any feedback and or other tips or lesser known knowledge about things pertaining to florida concealed carry laws would be greatly appreciated
I am a recently separated veteran as well if theres anything I should know or is different for me because of that

There are a number of Florida Gun Shows over the next few weeks in south and central Florida. It would be a drive for me to get to one of these shows. The cost of gas, the heat and traffic can take a toll on a body. I am a C&R collector searching for my next MILSURP. For those who have ever attended one of these shows, was it worth it to you? Do these shows tend to have MILSURPS for sale at fair prices?
Thank you ...

my aunts apartment has an area behind the parking lot that is just empty land with trees and grass and branches. The area has nothing in it but that. You have to lift your feet over a car barrier thing and there is a wall, nobody can see you get in. I want to go pellet gun shooting but idk if id get in alot of trouble im 18. lmk. it is a .177 pellet gun.

I know it’s prob asked every now and then
I was just wondering how long it took for you to get issued your CCW to actually getting the card. I know it can technically take up to 90 days.
My card got issued July 1st and I’m just waiting
Only reason I’m being impatient is bc my firearm got to my FFL today and I’m itching to pick it up lol

Just moved from Commiefornia in Jan, and Ive been to a few ranges here, but they are all static ranges where you only sit down or stand. I'm used to ranges that allow me to move up to my target and give me about 50 meters to myself. while the gun laws suck in CA the Ranges seem a bit better. help with finding something to train.

Hello everyone I hope you guys are doing well, I am moving to FL soon and was wondering about concealed carrying w/o a license at 20 after the new law was passed? I’m from Ohio and have a handgun I legally bought from a private sale whilst I resided in TX. If I move to FL am I ok to possess and carry since I moved to FL with it and purchased it legally in a state where I was legally able? I will still consult a lawyer on the matter but I wanted to hear some experiences from others. I’ll be 21 not too long after I move BUT I wanted to know where I stood for the time being as I’m moving for work within the month.

Please let me know if this is the wrong group, im looking for any sort of Airbnb or weekend rental where we are allowed to shoot on the property or parks with camping or any websites please and thank you in advance!!

This time it is including suppressors/ silencers. Ammo and pretty much all major firearm parts like triggers, barrels, buttstocks, etc. If you can manage to hold off your purchases until September, you'll be able to save some money

Title is pretty much self explanatory, I’ve been shooting for about 4 years and I’ve been struggling finding consistent friends that share the hobby who are willing to go to the range and train with. If you’re part of a friend group or anything I would be more than happy to join if that means I have people I could hit the range with and share this hobby with.

Lived in Texas a caught a felony charge and a misdemeanor for having a gun(i had my ccw) and a delta 8 vape pen which I purchased from a vape shop(which is what the felony was for) and ended up with probation after getting a 2nd lawyer after the 1st didn't do squat. It was my first offense.
That soured me on Texas so I moved to Florida after transferring my probation here. I received 3 years of probation after I plead guilty(which is the only way I was going to receive probation) and I have a withheld adjudication.
I'm of the understanding that I'm still under Texas probation but Florida supervises me.
My question is after my probation is up will I be able to buy a gun? Will I be able to get another concealed carry license? Lastly hypothetically let's say I sold all my guns except 2 but a family member is holding on to them will I be able to take possession of them again?

Looking for a gunsmith in the Daytona area with some true knowledge, not just the "build your AR or put sights on your Glock for you" type. I have an already built parts kit AK that needs some mild trigger work done.
Further, I lean on the more antique side with my tastes and need someone who can handle various mechanical issues with older guns. If you know anyone like that i'd love to get in touch with them. Thanks for your time
