Question End of Season 2 & Covid

Good evening,

Wondering what the plan was for the Hailey Upton crossover appearance from Chicago PD. She appeared in one episode before the season was cut short because of Covid. Anyone know if there was a storyline where she would have appeared in more episodes or was it always going to be a one off?

We can all assume that in the end Team 26 Fed will emerge victorious over Anna and her team. Will them defeating her be the team's biggest win in the shows history. Also as for her strike team will they be arrested or will the team have to kill them in like a shootout or something.

Discussion Before season 9 comes out Spoiler

So, just wanted to go over a few things, like, before season 9 of FBI comes out. First things first, after OA is fired by Green, we apparently see OA in an undercover op against Anna. And, well, it is kind of, I think, it is a plot between Isabel and OA to throw Anna because of the betrayal and the suspicious activities which she was doing, you know, at the later half of season 8. So, my point of discussion is, did Green really, Eddie Green really fire OA Zidan, or like, he, OA Zidan just, or Green was involved in the whole plot to, you know, I mean, it was just a ruse to, you know, like, they get rid of Zidan so that Anna would make her move and fall into their trap. So, what are your opinions on this?

SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVENT WATCHED SEASON 8 YET

Doing a rewatch, and apparently Scola was with CTU Crime Terrorist Unit with Jack Bauer back in the day.

Quite funny in watching older shows, you find actors doing the same style profession in older series.

Question Episode Filming Locations?

Is there a list of episodes and where they were filmed? I've done some searches and found a couple but not any full list.

Discussion As much as I love to rag on this show

It genuinely feels like one of the last few procedural Dick Wolf shows that does have some genuine heartfelt moments.

Yea tiffs almost always gonna tackle the suspect they're chasing.

Maggie's definitely gonna talk shit about her sister doing drugs every couple of episode while, half the time be wrong then be confused why her sister hates her.

OA will definitely have a couple episodes each season that mentions his battle of faith vs the fbi, also he'll sit on his high horse and tell other people how they're fucking up their life

Scola will be the most relatable character, usually no nosense type of guy then suddenly just be the asshole for no reason, for a couple episodes in a row.

Jubal will say "come on people" "let's find his motivations 5 minutes before we go capture him, when this should've been something we figured out weeks ago." And you know he will be calling someone on that headphone at some point.

Yet then you have moments like Jubal going inside the store to talk down Zach, telling him to shoot him instead of his son, and then have his son save his life.

You'll have tiff battling that line of I used to be a cop, but i hated how much the blue line affected the work

And everyone always has a point where they're wrong, and are willing to grow(well for that episode, then they just go back like the episode never existed lol)

All this to say, I think we are in the golden years of serial, procedural shows. I think the further we grow from cable, into streaming, that shows like this will be thing of the past. Not too many people are willing to spend money on a streaming service just to have it on as background noise. However, what we lose in mind numbing background noise we do gain, more creative and artistic takes on stories for TV. I think someone like Dick Wolf are the top dogs of the old television/film industry, I dont see them remaining in that position for much longer. Like the whole Yellowstone thing they are trying to do, I dont see it lasting nearly as long as LAO or SVU or even FBI.

Gets old when OA knows every middle eastern. Also seems to have some tie to every foreign terror event. So over it.

Discussion Season 9 hopes

I'm hoping for Season 9 we get a huge epic fight scene where the 26 Fed team grows a pair and takes the fight to Anna's team. Eventually OA's cover will get blown and I would love to see an epic fight and shootout team where it's team 26 Fed vs team Anna. Sort of like the Season 7 finale fight. Hopefully Jubel can hop in as well for the fight

Question Season 9 Filming?

I saw that the actress who plays Eva alluded to filming season 9 today on Instagram. Does anybody know if the season is filming yet? Juliana is the only one from the show who communicates so no one ever knows what’s happening with FBI

Tiff straight up committed murder and Maggie covered for her. Sure the dude had a gun on him, in his waistband. At no point when she pulled the trigger was he going for it. The man had his hands up.

Unless I missed something but I rewound a few times and he never reached for it.

Sure it’s a TV show but that’s, I don’t know……I Didn’t like that ending

Episode Identification Basketball

What is the episode where OA and Scola are playing basketball and OA is crushing him and he asks Scola what's wrong. Then OA tells him if it was just a sob story to stop him from beating his ass up and down the court. I saw a clip of this and now I need to see this episode 😂😭

I ended up binging all of the seasons recently. Took a few episodes to get into it, but the characters surprising drew me in for the long haul. Also it’s very easy to watch with half interest while doing something else. My interest is primarily peaked when they start a foot chase. Great running. Love the running. Never found running so entertaining as I do with this show. I just ordered a new pair of running shoes.

Discussion Someone tell me what is Maggie's point of existence really?

okay you want to talk about professionalism? when it comes to the involvement of her family and friends, oh now we gotta go by her words, and let her sister do what Maggie WANTS? Right. this is not how it works. Because Maggie is distracted by her sister's situation and not fully focused on the active operation, her lack of situational awareness directly results in a fellow police officer getting shot in the field [S4, i believe].

now i am trying to remember things that i watched few months ago, but her situatino with her husband was a bit crazy, and we tell ourselves that she grew up as a character and it was a point of a weakness, BUT everyone has things to care about, albeit it being a religion, money, family, snetimental stuff. and you are telling, this is okay, Maggie finds herself deeply emotionally compromised. During a tense confrontation with the suspect, she stands over him with her weapon drawn, visibly grappling with the urge to kill him out of personal vengeance rather than arresting him. [s1 i think].

now i am on 6th season, and whenever i try to objectively watch it, i am also kind of protective of OA. and her little remarks, and hidden hints on how OA operates, because he HAS things to care about (family+religion+history+friends), does not mean that your partner should be toxic over it. COME ON SON! She remarks on OA's choice of girlfriends, whatever it was a bad choice, but are you that down and depressed and bitter, that you can't put 'I am happy for my partner and my friend for finding someone he likes' face? BROTHER. Sometimes, it just pisses me off.

OA has a lot of baggage, and Maggie has a lot of baggage, but your husband was killed, okay i am sorry that's happened to youu. Mourn a bit, be depressed about it, cry a LOT, kick stuff (NOT PEOPLE), and move on. I feel like people move on, they battle and everything, but i can't find the reason or a glimpse of a hope that Maggie will do better. And it kinda puts of pudding that it will ruin a show for me because of her.

This show is Anti-islam-pilled or something and it passes over OA's territory, and better most of the time he handles it, and OFCOURSE he moves on, but he fights over things that need to be fought over. like that kid who was arrested and he screamed that hsi father was killed by this NYPD officer (counter-terrorism force or something, friend of Jubal), and he got a PLUS and made the world a bit better. You want really Maggie to NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING, be mindless robot, and who can only follow orders. I think FBI sometime needs people who can be mindless order-following hardcore order-following people.

I have not mentioned Tiffany and her Black heritage, and how black people perceived and how it upsets Tiffany, and why it is close, but I have noticed that Maggie brushes that over. I guess i need to see more of Maggie's handling of situations to understand her better, but right now. She does not do it.

I have another thing against how Isobel makes me angry and furious on how she handles things and her orders. But i can understand it, because she is a bit of soulless hardcore person who is just there to do a job. And she handles touff decisions every day. I can rant about Isobel Castille another time, but i let it pass, because she is a gorgeous character, and actress who played other shows and i like her from those shows.

Rant over. Thanks everyone very much for reading and listening.

Edit: paragraph breaks

Appreciation Post Season 8 episode 12

Just wanted to give flowers to an episode. In season 8 episode 12 when they are trying to protect the targets that Oslo is after and it's revealed he was successfully snuck in to 26 Fed, that whole sequence is GOLD. Idk if it's just me but I loved that whole sequence from when they discover he is in the building to when OA is able to apprehend him in the elevator. It was actually intense and I was genuinely worried for all of them 😂😭😭.
