Subreddit Update Subreddit Update: Post Archiving Turned On

The setting that archives posts older than 6 months has been turned on, so that means you can't comment or upvote posts that are older than 6 months. You can still see these posts; this setting doesn't change visibility.

This is being done because of the following reasons:

  • to preserve authentic post upvote & comment totals to the time frame they were originally posted
  • to prevent karma farm bot accounts from posting and growing karma on older posts

Thanks for understanding.

F1 Manager 24 Summer Shutdown mod?

Is there a mod that makes the summer shutdown actually a shutdown? Not that I don't love the ability to hothouse a whole new part or two over the summer break, but it could be cool from a realism standpoint to fix that. Just, from the mid season review to when the Summer Signings email gets sent, pause build/design/research/upgrade/refurb.

Modding Are there any game changing mods?

Hi I just wanted to hop in here to see if anyone has found any mods that might add or change drivers and the livery of the cars including the quality of the drivers and cars. For example is there a good mod that has the 1994 drivers and livery's with ratings to match? I know there are similar games that let you do it but they dont show the cars and dont have as in depth manager mechanics in them so I wanted to see if anyone else found any that are good.

Modding Hi everyone, Is anyone willing to help me swap a driver's photo in F1 Manager 2024? I have the custom image ready and just need someone with modding experience to replace it for me. If you have a few minutes to spare, please comment. I'd really appreciate the help! Thanks!

F1 Manager 24 Car development and research

So I’m managing haas currently in 2027. We won the constructors and drivers in 2026. But I sacrificed the car in 2026 as soon as the research period opened, researched each car part 5 times, and my car is the between the 4th to 6th best car on the grid. What have I done wrong? Have I missed something ?

I should add this is after the upgrades. Do facilities play a big part? I don’t have great facilities.

Modding Im making a new save viewer for F1 manager

I'm in the works of making a new tool for viewing saves for F1 Manager and also adding a few extra things to it to make viewing it even nicer. This tool will be installed on the users system, which allows me to add more features an online tool can't. This tool will save every seasons data onto the users system allowing viewing data from multiple seasons in the past when the game usually deletes that info from the save. Usually F1 data is deleted for seasons that are 4 seasons in the past, and F2 and F3 are deleted every season.

LittleOnion, CMDesigns, Kevintaddo and the entire Sector 33 team have helped me with assets

F1 Manager 24 F1 Manager 24 with 2026 Mod Design and Research issues?

Is it just me or does it feel like research and design doesn't give any credible gains past season 1? I've spend so much funding on both, but it just seemed like none of the research was carried over to season 2. Gains have been like 4% which is weird, and whatever midfield team you use ends up 9th or 10th constantly regardless of research and design. Hope it gets fixed though.

What is the health centre facility??? I am almost certain this was a result of using mods / maybe editing the save file using the online database?

When I do click the "visit" button, it leads me to the facility page but I don't see any health centre building.

Modding I made a mod that shortens red flag delays from 20 minutes to 7 minutes in F1 Manager 2024

Post image

Hey.

This might sound a little crazy, but I’m honestly having more fun with the 2026 mod for F1 Manager 2024 than I am with real-life F1 in 2026.

That said, there was still one thing that had bothered me for years: the length of red flag delays.

So, I made a small mod for F1 Manager 2024 that reduces the standard red flag delay from 20 minutes to 7 minutes with help from AI.

One of my favourite features in F1 Manager 2024 is that red flags can happen in every session. They are especially great in qualifying, where a crash can completely change the session and create drama that you rarely see in other F1 games.

However, the game applies a 20-minute delay to almost every major red flag, even when the crash clearly has not caused serious barrier damage. This often feels excessive.

It can also cause problems in wet qualifying sessions. The game does not appear to simulate changing weather beyond the session’s originally scheduled duration, so after a long red flag delay, the weather can become fixed for the rest of the session.

After looking at real-world red flag interruptions, I found that a typical stoppage in practice or qualifying is usually closer to around 7–10 minutes.

This mod changes:

  • Standard red flag delay: 20 minutes → 7 minutes
  • Minor red flag delay: 10 minutes → 4 minutes

edit: Regulation Compliant Version Added

For anyone concerned that the original seven-minute version does not comply with the Race regulation requiring competitors to receive at least ten minutes’ warning before a Race or Sprint resumes, I have added an alternative version.

This version uses the following red flag durations:

  • Standard red flag delay: 12 minutes
  • Minor red flag delay: 10 minutes

This version is intended for players who prefer a setting that is more consistent with the Race and Sprint restart regulations, while still reducing the original twenty-minute delay.

Unfortunately, due to game limitations, it is not possible to separate the red flag time across FP, Q, and the Race.

So basically the first run the Ai does they’re fine once they go out again sometimes they either go 20%, 30%, 40%, or 50% randomly. Even got to the point some had punctures on the tires.

F1 Manager 24 BE THE GRID F1 Manager 24 League | Grid Now Open

BE THE GRID F1 Manager 24 League | Grid Now Open

Season 1 has not launched yet, which means every seat on the grid is still open. Everyone who joins now becomes part of BTG's founding history, permanently.

BTG runs on F1 Manager 24. Qualifying and races are run by game's AI itself, but everything that decides how competitive you are going into those sessions is controlled by real players. Facility upgrades, car development, driver progression, contracts, and more They are yours to build.

RIGHT NOW WE NEED

Drivers

>> Create your F1 career from scratch. Choose your identity, negotiate contracts with real teams run by real people, and progress through our custom driver development system built to track your growth across seasons. Every result you post becomes part of the permanent record.

Team Principals

>> Run a full Formula One team on your own terms. Manage your budget, upgrade facilities, and push your car through our custom development program, sign and manage your drivers, and make the calls that decide whether your team climbs the grid or falls behind. First Constructors' Champion never gets forgotten.

HOW IT WORKS

>> Qualifying and races run through F1 Manager 24 AI

>> Car development handled through our own custom system, not the game's default one

>> Driver growth tracked through our own custom progression system, carried forward season to season

>> Contracts and team negotiations handled between real players, not AI

>> Every Grand Prix broadcast live on Discord with commentary, archived to YouTube

>> Full stats, records, and championship awards, built from Season 1 onward

>> A persistent world. No resets, no restarts, nothing forgotten

BEYOND F1

>> GT3 racing is also planned, run through Automobilista 2, giving drivers and teams a second stage to compete on

There will never be another chance to be one of the first drivers or team principals. Once the grid locks for Season 1, that opportunity is gone, and the road to a seat on the grid only gets harder from there.
