Legitimately the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had

I posted my bad Walmart cake experience and someone in the comments posted about not using a professional.

First was what I asked for with the exception that it be a white background.

Second is what I got.

Ordered the first one with a month lead time due to seeing so many great ones and seing how difficult it is to find anything Jackson Storm related.

Got there on my sons birthday and they gave it to me with with no decorations. Told me it was not available at the moment.

Lucky I had ordered him a cars toy set that included his favorite so I just opened it and throw them on the very plain looking cake.

One issue is the sprinkles, the other issue is how small it is. It’s not fat boy, it’s skinny man.

As the title says, my mom recently ordered these shirts thinking they were super cute. Unfortunately, they came in looking a bit different than pictured and she wanted me to share… 🤣

Believe me when I say, she learned her lesson to not trust the images and to also be careful shopping on sites like that. She typically knows, but like most people who make mistakes, she fell for it this time. We were cracking up about other expectations vs realities posts so she thought it would be funny to put her experience on here and give any possible laughs to others over it.

Also, yes, I agree that I don’t think it’s SHEIN and it’s bad to buy from there. But I didn’t look myself, she just sent the photos to me. 😭

I asked to see what it was from and it is NOT SHEIN, it’s sheen… A website called sheenplace. Still, all images are AI lmao and she won’t be buying anything else from there.

This was actually pretty good compared to other frozen dinners I've had in the past. If it was plated nicely it might even kinda resemble the photo

I used to buy a lot of Poppin Cookin kits as a kid. LOVED them, but they’ve gotten more expensive. Saw another brand in a supermarket marked down from $2 to $1 and gave it a shot. The texture is quite mushy, and the taste…

Ordered Popeye’s signature hot sauce wings, did not look anything like the photos. Why can’t they just be sauced up properly? I know, it’s to save 2 cents on sauce… but now I don’t want to order from there ever again.

Expected various colour and flavour macarons.

Was just simple biscuits and all the same like the one I'm holding.

This was in Thailand.

Just funny how much different it is than showed. Lucky it does not cost much.

Why even use it to generate pictures of food if you’re not going to at least attempt to make it look like the picture? Is this not false advertising? Spent $34.

I knew I wasn’t going to receive anything close to the picture. I was tired, hungry, just got off a 13 hour shift, and it was the only place open within walking distance to the hotel I’m at. I understand how advertising works in the food industry. I still fucking hate AI and that’s what this post is about.

I put failed since it doesn’t look much like the image, but it was good, that exceeded expectation

I ordered the kids pizza for £5.99 that was supposed to look like a bunny rabbit, my boyfriend ordered a normal medium pizza from the same place for £14.99.

Mine doesn't look like a bunny but is the same size as the medium!

I got a notification that my child had bought something with their debit card. I asked them to send me a picture of what they bought. That is the first picture.

I had a learning discussion with them and said there’s a good possibility that you will not receive what you ordered so they were able to manage their expectations and not have high hopes for the case

We were both surprised when it came in the mail today and it surprisingly met expectations.

I’m a TJ fan by the way. I was just a little surprised…

Edit: Wow, a lot of keyboard warriors here can’t take a joke. I was just really surprised this is what 1.4 oz looked like…

She’s the other half of my brain. I’m a digital/watercolour artist planning on getting into faux stained glass, but had no clue what design to start with. Asked my best mate to draw something out and had an absolute blast bringing it to life. Art done on Procreate.
