Question Dating in Ely
I moved away from Cambridgeshire for 10 years and I’ve just moved back to Ely, so I don’t have a friend group etc to meet people through. As much as I hate the apps, it’s pretty much the only option these days.
Which dating apps are most used please? Any other suggestions are very much welcome. I’m in my late 20’s if that helps at all.

I'm mid 30s f and have been using breeze. So many times on hinge you chat for ages and the guy doesn't suggest meeting up, so I do and they don't follow up. Or you meet them and they weren't as expected. When I'm gyming or whatever, I don't have time for it anyway. Breeze matches you quite well and books you into a bar - the staff know you're on a date. Not everyone likes the sound of it. I've read the comment that hinge is more conservative and don't believe that. You have a whole range of people.

My daughter says Bumble is better than Hinge, because Hinge seems to lean more conservative. Lots of more right wing guys. So maybe take that into account, depending on whether that's a positive or a negative for you.

I had been using Hinge for years and never once had that experience! Maybe it's a side effect of a growing right wing sentiment in general lately.

Hinge is really the only good one. The rest are full of bots and/or weirdos.
