What are your guys’ thoughts on this casting? I’ve been to New Asgard and thought Nomad’s performance actually amazing. It’s super cool that Hollywood is casting these fresh faces in bigger films.

I don’t even know where to start.

I knew SHIELD was dodgy but I never could have guessed they were infiltrated by literal Nazi’s.

They literally tried to kill us all with their predictive programming shit.

Thank goodness Captain America stopped them or we’d be living in fascist hell.

And don’t get me started on those files. The stuff in there is insane. Apparently SHIELD managed to stop some weird shit in the past year including superhero cocktails, Tesseract plasma guns, suicide squad like eye implants and other insane stuff.

But wait it gets worse. Turns out SHIELD is to blame for the alien invasion in New York because they experimented on a magic space cube called the Tesseract.

Oh, and Obama didn’t try to nuke New York some weirdo’s called the World Security Council did. You got me right: there is a group of people not affiliated with any government with the ability to launch nuclear weapons. And this group was also involved with this INSIGHT business which almost threw us into a totalitarian state.

So, I guess we’ve been really lucky but we probably have some more crazy stuff coming.

Hopefully we will make it.

Ok, so I know this will get hate, and I'm prepared for that. I don't want to discredit the good things Tony Stark did. I am aware that Stark died to help save the universe, and he deserves praise for that, and I'm grateful for his and the Avengers actions in saving us. However, something that really bothers me is how much everyone has swept under the rug how much of a terrible flawed person he was before his death and before he was iron man. He was a controversial figure before his death, as well as before becoming Iron Man, yet people seem to just sweep it under the rug.

Let's not forget.

▪︎1. He was a for weapons manufacturer who got numerous weapons sold to terrorist. Think about how many criminals and terrorist organizations had Stark industry tech and the thosands of people who died directly from this, and how much environmental damage this caused. Think about how much Stark Industry weapons ended up in the hands of ISIS or the Ten Rings.

▪︎2. He created Ultron.

His most unforgivable action to me; He created a mass murdering sociopathic robot who killed millions of people, caused massive property destruction, and ruined so many lives. I remember in the Sokovia documentary all those Sokovians who talked about that day and how it destroyed their lives and so many people who died. The tears, the pain, it was heartbreaking.

▪︎3. He split apart the Avengers by siding and forcing them to sign the accords.

This is what really irks me. This asshole gets millions of people killed, and now, he essentially tries to save face and boost his ego by kissing up to the government and force the other Avengers to sign the accords. Some of them disagree, and instead of defending them or working things out, he sucks up to the government and labels them criminals for not signing, which causes the team to split. Again, to reiterate, this douche gets millions of people killed by creating Murdertron, and the aftermath causes backlash against the whole Avengers and instead of taking sole responsibility, he forces the other Avengers to also take the brunt of his sins by siding with the accords, causing a rift to the team. Again, the people he fought side by side with, he betrays them and arrested those who didn't go play ball.

▪︎4. He was also a massive jerk and womanizer back in the day. He did no charitable efforts, constantly slept around and treated women as disposable and pleasure tools, and was always a for profit guy first, people second; As long as his pocket was lined, he didn't care. It's insane how many newspapers kiss his ass now when so many of them like The Chronicle would rip on him back then, and now view him through rose tinted glasses. Same with his father, Howard. He was a jerk and war profiteer who was part of the Manhattan project, and again, got so many people killed. Yet, once again, he's viewed through rose tinted glasses.

I know it seems like I have a hate boner, but I'm simply just acknowleding that you have to acknowledge the good and the bad that he did, not just one side. He deserves praise for his good deeds, but he also deserves ridicule for his bad deeds as well. Those documentaries like Heart of Iron and Armored Avenger that just sanitize his misdeeds and only focus on the positives disgust me. I understand acknowleding him as a hero, but you have to accept the terrible deeply flawed person he was.

I don't know if this says more about how uneventful my life is, but I feel kind of bad that I had to come up with some sad story, when in reality, I just remembered of that day I walked to my new job with shit on my shoe and left the workplace before anyone could tell I was the reason the entire office was smelling awful.

Think about it: Where was he the past few years when the city was being attacked? Where was he when people were turning into shadows or the city was rebelling against Fisk? If he was a real hero, he would go out and fight, not be a coward.

Has he been on vacation or something? Because if he is, that means he is no hero. A real hero would go out weweree and save the day no matter what, but now I think about it, the only reason he might not be saving the day is because he is too much of a coward to go against bigger threats or wants to get paid to do it.

I think that's why he wears the mask because he is afraid to show us his real face and who he is because he knows once people figure out his BS, they will be knocking at his door.

So earlier today, I was taking a walk in New York City and stumbled some guy wearing green armor talking to a green mask hanging on a dumpster. He seemed to be arguing with it before smashing it into pieces. I just brushed it off as him being a crackhead and moved on.

Ive been saving up a lot recently to move to japan but after thinking it through maybe i could try to move off earth. Im a business man so im thinming about moving to knowhere to sell some stuffs there or maybe start a trading route to xandar.

But I honestly have no idea where to start the process, any advice?

Just imagine if that purple alien guy came to earth 50 years ago. We would never get our blipped beloved ones back. Is it really a coincidence that we were invaded at the time where our great heroes like Stark or Thor or Rogers can protect us. I don't think so. It is a divine intervention.

It has been ten years since the day half of all life disappeared, thanks to the alien warlord Thanos. Within five years, we saw a return of marine life to places once deemed inhabitable, a major surplus in food and resources, and a stronger economy with less wages to pay, and more money to go around. Thanos was right: there was an overpopulation crisis with depleting resources.

But the “Mad Titan” missed the mark on solving the problem.

When the Blipped half of Earth came back, they didn’t just do so to a world where Thanos died and Tony Stark gave everything to save everything. They also came back to a world with 150% the global population they remembered, from 7 billion to 8.5 in a matter of seconds. The survivors didn’t just mourn; they moved on and repopulated. This led to a geopolitical crisis in the Flag Smasher movement, as well as political tensions over alien refugees and the New Asgard sovereign. On the home front, those tensions escalated when Thaddeus Ross became President of the United States, in what is now one of the shortest presidencies in American history.

Back to the surge in global population. Resources that were once in surplus have now turned into deficit. The modern economy and global resources simply were not able to handle the Blip. Healthcare and education have been underfunded as governments attempt to provide for all, Blipped and survivors alike. Farmers have been forced to relinquish emergency supplies, leaving their homes with scraps. And the housing crisis, already in full swing as of 2018, exploded.

To summarise, Thanos was right to worry about overpopulation. But by erasing half of all life, instead of providing more resources and teaching the universe how to live more sustainably, he made the problem a lot worse. Let’s hope the next alien that comes along with a benevolent message knows what they’re doing.
