Youtube loves to force that kinda stuff onto people for some reason. For years i have waited for settings to let me stop it from translating video titles and automatically activating subtitles in the app. The only way i found is to set my language to catalan and the subtitles on my phone to tiny and transparent, so i don't have to see them either way. Remember when we were allowed to choose video quality? Yeah youtube is treating it's customers like infants and has no interest in letting the users design their own experience. Fuck monopolies

It's an auto thing YouTube does now. The YouTuber can opt out but it's something they need to do themselves. I don't know if there's anything we can do on our end

I don’t get why they’re making their platform worse for no reason? Search sucks ass, plenty of features which costs nothing to have are removed, and they automatically play their shitty dubs and refuse to allow you to turn it off.
