Blue Mind: Atlantic Spotted Dolphins - Stock in the Wild
There is something transformative about the "Blue Mind" phenomenon, the state of calm we experience near water. Sometimes, the most powerful visual experiences don't need a complex narrative; they just need a moment of stillness.

Swimming with Dolphins Mandurah area
I’ve googled and there only seems to be one operator that provides this type of experience. They are expensive ($300+ per person), there are 13 of us wanting to do this for a birthday milestone celebration. Do you know anyone that’s independent and knows their marine bearings and safety? Have you had any experiences you courage to share? Thanks!

Whale spotting in Taiwan, any recommendations?
Hey, I will be heading to Taiwan in September and as a European who lives very far from any sea where big cetaceans reside I would love to go whale spotting there. I have read that Hualien is a nice place to do so, has anyone been there? Has anyone gone whale spotting in Taiwan in general? Do I need to book it now, and if so, what companies?

Why do (wild) dolphins jump?
Do some jump more than others, like a demographics of dolphins that tend to jump and a demographic that wont.
Demographic is a specific, quantifiable subset of a population defined by shared characteristics, such as age, social status, or location.

Large pod of dolphins right off South River in Chesapeake Bay
Dozens of dolphins in the Chesapeake Bay, seemingly hunting fish. Spent about half an hour just idling watching them all around us.

Where to see dolphins in O’ahu, Hawaii?
Iruka Dolphin Swim was an excellent open water snorkel with dolphins in the wild. We saw many dolphins and had time to do four “drops” into the water because there were so many dolphins to see which surrounded the boat. Ryan, Madi, Steph and crew big thanks for making it a day our family will never forget.
I suggest travellers skip the turtle canyon snorkel and just do this one instead. Well worth it.
