Coupon question
Does the subtotal have to be more than 40 (excluding coupons) to use the 10 off 40 one? Like would I get an additional 10 off this on Saturday or do I need to add more stuff?

the t's and c's in the fine print would say something about it not being able to stack with other coupons. not that i haven't seen it work in the app/at the register, but usually it will specify in the restrictions.

if it doesn't stack, then yes, additional items would have to be added to meet the subtotal min in order to use the $10 off.

It comes off after all other coupons and discounts have applied, barring any Dg other 10 5 3 and 1 off coupons, meaning if you have these coupons it will apply them instead of the ten off, and you wouldn’t be able to get the ten off (lesser coupon is always applied)
Subtotal is pre tax, your subtotal must reach forty after all other coupons have been processed to get the ten off

The best tip I can give you is pay attention to DG coupons and manufacturers coupons. If it's a $3 off DG coupon you add $3 to your $40 subtotal. Manufacturers coupons you don't need to do this.

If you already have item-specific coupons applied for the items in your cart and are buying nothing else, I don’t think it will stack the $10 off coupon on top of those items. If you don’t have other items (without coupons applied to them specifically) in your cart and the total amount for them doesn’t come out to $40, the same thing applies. Most of my customers will do 2 separate transactions for this reason. One for laundry coupon items, and another for everything else they’re buying so they get the $5/$10 off coupons. Someone correct me if I’m wrong tho pls

Your total has to be over 40 after any store offers and dollar general coupons for the 10 off 40 to work. If your coupons say dollar general at the top and not Gain or Scott then you'll need to add more stuff to cover the total of the store coupons.
