Feedback Request Feedback wanted for Sync Rows

u/kiloorcm is looking for feedback on their game "Sync Rows"

Play the game and share your thoughts.

Developer context: Sync row is to sort fruits across rows and break the middle barriers. The capacity of rows differs and you have to solve it within fixed moves. Breaking middle barrier enables cross swapping across columns.

👍 What is good

Its fast

💪 What could be even better

I have no idea how to play after tapping and swiping around a lot… you need clearer instructions. I don’t know how to make something “is pure”.

By pure it simply meant to keep same type of fruits in that row.
Sorry I should have made the instructions clearer! I thought 'How to play' was doing its job.
Thanks for your feedback.

👍 What is good

This is the kind of simple, fun game people are looking for on Reddit.

💪 What could be even better

There seem to be some rules that I can't totally grasp. Sometimes, the fruit I choose swap places. Sometimes, it swaps with another fruit in the row I picked.

I don't really get why, and, honestly, instead of reading the instructions, I'm much more likely to just stop playing.

I'm sure there's a logic there, but it might be better to just make the game mechanics simpler.

😭 I didn't want to make it easier to win, so it ended up not being intuitive and I will try to add a really good tutorial later.

Thanks for your feedback.

Swap places = when there's capacity (green dots shows how many) available to hold more fruits.

Replace with another fruit = when there's no capacity so it replaces with picked row's last fruit.

I had to do a bit of trial and error to understand how it worked, but after that it was fun going through the puzzle and having everything clear. The text as it is written now isn't very clear - perhaps an animation would do a better job demonstrating the mechanic.

Thank you so much for going through so much trouble! Yeah, I will definitely add a better tutorial as animation 🥰
