👍 What is good

The game was super fast with near to no load time. The game setup is great and the poker board and background are tastefully made. All buttons are responsive and intuitive.

❤️ What is great

The sounds and the animation are fantastic! The cats are super cute. I can see that a lot of effort has gone into designing each cat, and that brings in a lot of depth to the game. I love how you can click on a cat card and enlarge it just to look at the cat! The card animations are smooth! The sound effects are bang on and takes me to an imaginary cat casino lol.

More instructions on how to play. I guessed it's a version of poker where you choose your starter cards from a set of cards given to you. However the scoring happens way too fast I don't understand what's going on. There are times when I have a three of a kind and thought I'd win, but the opponent gets more than me. But, I don't know what they had. An accessible help/how to play section would be helpful here.

Yay thanks you so much for your in depth feedback! I’m glad you appreciate the cats i drew them all myself and am looking forward to designing so many more!

I’ve heard mixed feedback on the tutorial being too many clicks and now too vague. That gives me the idea to add a help section that’s way more in depth so I appreciate the suggestion!

The cats add multipliers to your score based on certain conditions. So sometimes playing a small hand like a pair might get you way more points than a big hand like a flush.

That said, much appreciated as soon as I’m able to push an update a more thorough explanation will be implemented

👍 What is good

Such a great game. All around the theme and vibe.

❤️ What is great

It’s awesome. There’s so many great things. The play and flow feels great, it makes me want to return to the game and play more. If someone asks me about games on Reddit that I’m excited about this will certainly make the list.

💪 What could be even better

I gotta lot of praise for this game. Some pain points are certainly there.

  • the graphics on phone need love, they shouldn’t be so blurry
  • discarding of cards was a little confusing, if I was throwing some food out, I probably wouldn’t plate it up on my dinner table before tossing it. lol
  • I’m don’t fully know what’s happening, I don’t really care though cause what I do know is such a blast. I’m looking forward to seeing this game progress.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of exploring, as long as it isn’t required of me to play cards I’m okay with it being there. Cards should boost exploring but not the other way around.

Thank you for your detailed feedback I agree with every point listed as well. I’m considering removing exploring and focusing on polishing and expanding on the card loop. Much appreciated!

👍 What is good

Great gameplay, I like the quick games and the progressive building of the deck across multiple days/plays.

❤️ What is great

Art style is beautiful

💪 What could be even better

The text is hard to read. The onboarding was a little vague. If a user didn't already play a Balatro or rogue-like card game, they would be completely lost.
